Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely small, clean site. Toilet and shower block superb and warm. Washing up sink with hot water which is a lovely treat. Location really handy for the bus into Chichester. Pub across the road and a petrol station nearby with a Londis and off-licence!
Site has a gate with a code so you feel safe.
Even the electric hook ups were well maintained with a light and water tap. The small, considerate touches were appreciated.
We only stayed 2 nights, to spend a day in Chichester and see a show. But we’ll be back to explore this beautiful area more.
A taxi back from Chi was reasonable too.
Disliked The shower and toilet cubicles could be separate to speed up throughput in a morning. It’s painful waiting for someone to finish their shower when all you want is a pee! But that’s a small annoyance, compared to how wonderful the site is.

Primitive grass and earth RV campsite
Liked Basic site run by very friendly people in a little oasis off the beaten track but not far from city & motorway links.
It’s a nice little field with stunning views.
I loved the farm produce for sale too.
I’ve seen reviews marking this site down for lack of facilities, but it’s in the site description that there are no toilets or showers. You need to be self-contained. There’s elsan waste disposal and a water tap, so not exactly wild camping!
Disliked 1 grumpy camper who told me I was listening to the news too loudly at 11am in the morning, but hopefully I’ll never see him again!

Power optional grass RV campsite
Liked The owner was one of England’s old eccentric gentlemen. Wonderfully interesting to talk to.
The site is basic and wild. Not to everyone’s taste, but just what we like.
Handy for ferry port.
Disliked Some of the other campers looked quite wild! But they didn’t bother us
This site isn’t walking distance to anywhere except one pub, but we didn’t need anything. We only stayed one night.
