Liked Really lovely site just beside the river tees. We were kindly positioned right in front of the river, so the views and sounds were bliss. We got to enjoy the light from the harvest moon over the river on the night too!

Liked Clean facilities with hot showers,
very well kept pitches
Very nice staff. John was particularly helpful as he popped to our pitch and gave us the rundown on the site, location and great spots to eat nearby, and directions for the walks! Also provided us with an extension for the electric hook up point as our wire was just a tad too small! WiFi was great too, not usually an essential for us but we had a movie night in our projector on our second night and it was strong enough to keep Netflix going 😁
Disliked Nothing, everything was spot on!

From the manager: What great photos - thank you for sharing them with us! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and made the most of our farm walk and track to the village. The pitches at the north of the site give yuo a good view over the site and the hills in the distance. WiFi can be patchy sometimes and we are amazed it ran Netflix for you - we normally suggest you download before you arrive. We like the idea of a projector, your tent would make a great screen! Our staff are super attentive in making sure you ahve pitched OK and that you have everything you need to get settled in, it's your holiday after all!

Liked We booked a few pitches to celebrate a friends birthday - between us we had 3 couples, two with kids spread across 3 pitches. We all said it was the best spot we’ve camped so far!
The communal spaces were very clean, well maintained! The showers and toilets were a godsend! Not like other places I’ve stayed where we’ve needed sliders to keep clean after cleaning haha!
The communal fridges were a nice touch - we did bring our own mini fridge as we didn’t expect this, so it’s super handy and helpful for those packing lighter!
The shop was well stocked, grateful as we forgot ketchup for our bbq! Pitches are quite spaced apart however well connected and easy visibility towards toilets and car park, so the kids could roam a little without us being too worried.
Location was spot on, really close to the dam, however no noise from roads or traffic. We could see the cows and horses which the kids loved! We also got to see a hare running around as we sorted our tents, and plenty of birds to watch and listen out for.
Owners were lovely too. We had a welcome message from Sarah while we were on route, and any questions I had were answered via texts so we knew we were in good hands.

Liked Really clean facilities, site was lovely and well maintained. Lovely flowers and landscaping between pitches! Convenient reception area which also serves as a cafe and shop if you run out of essentials. Were able to hire a fire pit and purchase logs too which was great for a chilly evening!
Also had washers and dryers, we weren’t anticipating on using them but needed to dry some clothes off after some heavy rain while we set up our pitch
Disliked Nothing, great service and site
