Liked This was a great little stop over on the way to Skye. Very easy to find. Helpful staff and close to a restaurant. Ideal place for walkers.

Liked Loved this site. It was our first stay here, only one night but would have liked to stay longer. The site is immaculate, gardens, flowers and hedges giving each pitch privacy. The pitches are large, the one we stayed on had its own secret garden to sit in, it was also fully serviced. The amenities were clean and well looked after. We had a warm welcome on arrival and given useful information about the nearby village, which was less than 20 minutes walk. Where, you find the Wheatsheaf pub, a village shop and the golf course which also serves food, if like us you are too early for the evening dinner service and have missed lunch. We were also given some takeaway menus, the Chinese which was delivered to our pitch was delicious. We will definitely be booking again, for a longer stay this time, so peaceful and picturesque , looking forward to going back.

Liked We love going to this site. Staff are always supportive. Sea view is nice too.

Disliked This time we were moved because there was an electric fault in our pitch. Moving to another pitch when you have set up is an inconvenience. But this was not anyone’s fault. Did feel we missed out on the sea view when we were moved.

Unfortunately, the issue was outside of our control, and despite our best efforts, we were unable to resolve it quickly enough for you to remain on your original pitch. As it was a particularly busy weekend on the park, we had very limited pitches available to allocate, which unfortunately meant moving you away from the sea-view pitch you had initially been enjoying. We completely understand how frustrating it is to have to move after you’ve already set up, and we appreciate your understanding that this was not caused by anyone on site. Your feedback is genuinely valued, and we’re sorry this issue affected your experience. Liked Amazing place. Well looked after and plenty of friendly staff to help you. Great facilities- swimming pool, ice cream shop, bowling alley. Food was delicious.

Disliked I would have preferred to be on the main site with a motorhome.

Liked Always a pleasure to visit this site. We walked to Llysfasi College (0.5mile) and got the bus to Ruthin. Had a wonderful time visiting Ruthin Castle and the old jail. Maes Carafanau Llanbenwch is a really nice well kept campsite with amazing facilities.

Disliked The path to the toilets and showers was across someone’s pitch - I did not like this because it disturbed those there. Perhaps have a separate path leading up to the path for the toilets.

Liked This is a lovely place to visit. The campsite is well maintained and near Bala lake.

Disliked Pitch 12 was too close to other motorhomes that had an awning. They took up a lot of space. We heard every noise from others. So it was not as peaceful as the last time we were here.

Liked This is a beautiful, friendly and quiet place to relax. The neatness of the place with garden statues made this a solid 10 for me. The pitches were a good size and well maintained.

Disliked Honest nothing - although the place is in a a mobile signal dead spot, it was a welcome break from our phone.
