Liked Owners and staff are very friendly. We arrived late due to the Dieppe to Newhaven Ferry, which they were able and happy to accommodate us! Have all the facilities you need for a nice peaceful stay.

Liked Friendly welcome by the owner and team. Showers were not turning hot, reported to owner and within 10 minutes they were working brilliantly. Situated close to a supermarket for convenience. On-site indian restaurant, although we didn’t try it, it looked nice.

Disliked Roads where the pitches are were very small, so getting onto a pitch would’ve proven difficult. It was raining and quiet, so the owner let us just park on the road (not a pitch) as all pitches were waterlogged. Facilities could do with being updated.

Liked Very friendly English owner. 10 minute drive from a supermarket which is convenient. Nice and peaceful campsite. Facilities are clean and heated. Definitely recommend. Wifi is excellent

Liked Big pitches, enough toilets and showers for the site capacity. Lots of water points around the site. Electricity tripped which the owner fixed promptly.

Disliked No toilet paper in the toilets, you NEED to take your own as they don’t provide this. Entrance is blocked with a gate, so you have to block the road whilst they open the gate (good for security I suppose). Shower was warm for a minute or so and then went luke warm (at best!). Pitch drainage isn’t great so get water logged.

Liked Excellent facilities that are cleaned each day. Quick walk to the local village.

Disliked Arrived at 13:45 to find reception was closed between 13:30 and 15:30, so had to wait in the car park for just under 2 hours. Called the number at reception and was told just to wait…. should be clearly stated as we would’ve come earlier/later…

Liked Fantastic campsite with a lovely on-site restaurant and a friendly welcome. Spacious pitches with water and electric hookups. The large, clean facilities block was a big plus. Only a 10-minute drive to the beach. If we came back to this area, we’d come here.

Liked Great campsite located right on the beach with a nice on-site restaurant. Supermarkets are within walking distance, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Large Facilities Block cleaned everyday.

Disliked There was maintenance work taking place nearby, so had loud constant banging from 8.30am until 6pm everyday. This isn’t the campsites fault but didn’t make the stay as enjoyable as it could be. Wifi not great

Liked Nice campsite with a friendly welcome. The pitches were spacious, and there were plenty of drinking water taps conveniently located. The daily fresh baguettes from the shop were a fantastic touch!

Disliked The campsite had limited facilities, with just one male, one female, and one disabled toilet, each with a shower, plus three standalone showers near the pool—only four showers in total. The location wasn’t ideal, as you had to drive to reach any nice spots. Wifi cuts out very frequently.

Liked Nice big pitches. Extremely friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Showers are good, very hot. Reasonably priced washer/dryer available. Would definitely come here again.

Disliked A lot of electricity points were tripped, couldn’t be turned back on as fuse boards are in a locked box. Luckily, the pitch next to ours had working electricity so had to use that.

Liked Facilities were good. Showers were very hot and worked with a normal tap, not a timed button, so stayed on for as long as you wanted! Receptionist was friendly and helpful. 300 metres to a little beach or a 15 minute drive to El Sardinero which is a lovely beach/area. Definitely worth a stop off if in the area.

Disliked Didn’t bother us, but the pitches are VERY close to each other.

Liked The person on reception, Alejandro, was super friendly and spoke great English, which made things easy. The facilities were spotless and well-kept and the pitches were a good size with hedges for privacy. Wifi was brilliant, just had to ask reception for the code.

Disliked Very difficult to manoeuvre on to the pitches due to the size of road. Had to try 3 different pitches as they were all difficult to reverse on to. Would recommend a motor mover if coming here. Lots of permanent caravans.

Liked We had a great stay at this campsite! Stayed over the Christmas period. The staff were welcoming, and check-in was super easy. Our pitch was spacious and came with water and electricity, which was really convenient. The toilets and showers were clean, and the showers were warm with a good timer so we didn’t need to keep pressing the button for water. The location is a big highlight. It’s a 40 minute drive to La Pierre Saint Martin ski resort, which is absolutely amazing, plus there are shops and restaurants just a short 5-minute walk away. If you’re into outdoor activities, you’ll love the nearby walks, hikes, and bike trails. Overall, highly recommend!

Liked Owner was friendly and spoke good English. Pitch was large with good reliable electricity. Toilet block was heated by a wood burner so was lovely and hot at all times! Showers were powerful and hot as well. Wifi was absolutely amazing all throughout the site!

Disliked Only 1 water tap for caravan water available although there was 4 taps on the site. There appeared to be long term residents on site. Pitches didn’t have good water run off, so got very saturated when it was raining.

Oui, nos emplacements sont spacieux et nous essayons de répondre au mieux au client en fonction de son type d'hébergement (caravane pour vous). Contents de voir que les sanitaires et la WIFI répondaient à vos attentes. En ce qui concerne les robinets, étant en hiver, nous avons effectivement fermé et isolé les fontaines à eau se trouvant sur le camping afin de les protéger des gelées. Il n'y a de l'eau de disponible en effet que sur la zone "vidange" camping car qui peut en effet être un peu loin des emplacements. Bien cordialement, La direction

Liked Camping Le Paradis is such a lovely spot! Super quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. Jon and Berni, the owners, are friendly and welcoming—and their dog is so friendly! The facilities are clean and well-kept, which is always a plus. Definitely worth a visit!

Liked This campsite offers a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. While there was a minor issue during check-in, it was quickly resolved once the owner arrived. The site itself is spacious, with plenty of walks to explore. It’s conveniently located near a town with a large supermarket. The owner is friendly and helpful, adding a personal touch to the stay.

Disliked Despite booking an electric pitch, we had to pay an extra €5 per night for electricity. The showers were disappointing, only getting lukewarm at best. Since it’s winter, the outdoor drinking water was turned off, which is understandable, but the indoor tap provided was very slow. The lack of toilet paper in the toilets was inconvenient—we brought our own, but it disappeared overnight, even though we were the only ones staying on-site. When on site, there are no directions how to get to the pitches, signs should be added to make it easier to locate when on site.

Liked If you’re looking for a quiet and convenient campsite, Camping Des Gayeulles is a great option, especially in low-season. The friendly, English-speaking receptionist made check-in a breeze. The site is peaceful, perfect for unwinding, and there are plenty of walking trails nearby. Plus, it’s only 5km from Rennes city center, making it a good base for exploring the area. We walked over 19 miles in 2 days!! Chemical waste disposal still available this time of year.

Disliked Facilities are closed this time of year, but was made aware well in advance, so were prepared.

Liked What can we say… La Cour de la Grange is great! Billie greeted us when we arrived and was so friendly and helpful. We also met Anne, who was lovely and super chatty. Both made us feel really welcome. The facilities were good too – the showers and toilets were clean and worked perfectly. There are loads of lovely walks around the campsite, including a walk to the town of Villers-Sur-Mer. Definitely get walking if you stay here! We’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, friendly campsite!

Liked Nice location in a peaceful area. Brilliant if getting off the Ferry and needing a 1 night stay. Owner was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him.

Disliked As stated in the advert, no electric, no water, no toilets and no shower facilities we could access.

Liked Killerby Old Hall has a fantastic location, being conveniently close to Scarborough town centre and the beach. It’s an ideal base for exploring the area. The facilities on-site are well-maintained and clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. Everything is kept tidy and in good working order. There’s an on-site restaurant offering reasonably priced meals with an appealing menu. While we didn’t get the chance to dine there during this visit, the food looked great, and we’ll definitely try it next time. Overall A well-situated and well-kept campsite perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended, and we’re looking forward to returning!

Liked Clear Sky Caravan Park is a gem nestled in Kielder Forest. The owner is exceptionally kind and helpful—when we got lost towing our caravan near the site, he personally came to guide us in his car, which was a lifesaver. The site itself is incredibly peaceful, with minimal light pollution, making it perfect for stargazing. Its secluded location ensures you are surrounded by the lovely outdoors. There are plenty of scenic walks nearby. The facilities are great. Washing machines and tumble dryers are available at a small cost. The toilets and showers are lovely and clean. Showers are individual and you don’t have to keep pressing the button for water!!! Highly recommended!

Disliked Not a major dislike, but a good tip for future travellers - Make sure you take food, drink & essentials as the closest shop we could find was in Bellingham, 30 mins drive away.
