Richmond, North Yorkshire, England
Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Our third visit to Millfield. It’s small and quiet site, 10 minute walk to a lovely pub and small village shop.
Fantastic brand new shower and toilet block just opened.
Disliked Shelves and hooks by the hand basins would be a useful addition.

Aysgarth, North Yorkshire, England
Powered grass tent campsite
Liked Location for walking to Aysgarth Falls. Quick drive to Hawes and Wensleydale creamery. Lovely cafe and gift shop across the road from the back of the campsite.
Beautiful hotel, restaurant and bar on site.
Easy checkin at the bar.
Quiet adult site.
Disliked Toilet and shower facilities were insufficient as malfunctions were daily. The site had just two toilet and sinks in separate sheds to the two showers which were also in individual sheds. Problems with shed doors and latches were so frequent it often meant that only one toilet or shower was usable.
The Hotel had a smart restaurant which had to been booked especially over the weekend. Plan to book a table before or immediately on arrival. The bar tables were also reserved for food bookings so we visited the bar after 9 pm for a drink.

Skipton, North Yorkshire, England
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Toilet and shower facilities.
No cars on campsite.
Disliked Not enough trollies to transport camping equipment to and from the field for the amount of tents all trying to leave at the same time.
No way of drying hands after using the toilet.
Floors in the bathrooms got very wet, so important to have more hooks to hang clothing up.
