Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Beautiful rural setting. Very quiet. We had total privacy as the site wasn’t busy. The staff were lovely and really helpful. We were only there for one night on our way to somewhere else, but it was a lovely stay.

FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (super, adults only)
Liked Lovely site, immaculately kept. Spacious pitches and although the site dog walk is very short, there’s a long track you can walk for miles just nearby. Peaceful and very enjoyable stay. Great location too with such beautiful countryside and places to visit. Best toilet/shower block I’ve ever seen on a site. Had read in an earlier review that the WiFi was poor, but we didn’t experience any problems at all.
Ordered food from Barneys Bar for our last night. Absolutely delicious!
We’d definitely stay here again.
Disliked Although the toilet/shower block was superb, there were only two toilets and two showers in it. Whilst it wasn’t a problem during our stay as the site was very quiet, I do wonder if there would be a problem with having to queue when the site is busy as it’s a large site and I only noticed two blocks on site.

Liked Good sized, level pitch. On site bar open 5 days a week.
Disliked Very basic site, more perfectly suited for motor homes on a one or two night stay while travelling rather than an extended stay. Had to clear rubbish from our pitch when we arrived and grass and hedges were overgrown. Overgrown trees hanging down and hitting the top of the caravan all the time, which was very noisy at night. Advertised as having WiFi on site, but you couldn’t actually access it unless you were in the bar. No view or landscaping to make sitting outside pleasant, bearing in mind this site is at the top end of the charging scale. I didn’t use the onsite facilities but my husband did. He said they were basic, very tired and needed upgrading.
We left a day early as we’d had enough.

Liked Lovely site, well kept in a beautiful location. Great places to walk the dog near the old Church.
Disliked Was very noisy when all the pitches were occupied. Felt a bit on top of each other and no privacy. Once the weekend crowd had gone it was gloriously peaceful.
WiFi was initially very difficult to access. In the end I could only join it on my iPad as my phone couldn’t find it, and neither my husband’s phone or iPad could join. Phone signal was very poor so 4G wouldn’t work, you need WiFi.
