Liked What a lovely site. Spacious pitches and great facilities. Loved the wildlife and being surrounded by pheasants they were so funny the way they ran about you could add the benny hill theme tune to them. Great base to explore the area. Will definitely return.

Liked Loved this campsite, small but perfectly formed. It has everything you need. Lovely welcome and a very informative guide book available of things to do in the area and all other important information. Definitely stay again.

Liked Stayed for the weekend, lovely site with great size pitches and fantastic facilities. Excellent location to explore the area. Friendly welcome on arrival and the most comprehensive information/guide book supplied with everything and more to know about the area. Would definitely stay again.

Liked We recently stayed at Greenacres Campsite in the Forest of Dean, and we can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, Maureen and Andy made us feel completely welcome — they clearly pour their hearts into running the site, and it shows in every detail. The location is absolutely fantastic for walking, with beautiful routes right on the doorstep. Whether you’re after a gentle stroll or a longer adventure, you’re spoiled for choice. The facilities are truly top-notch — spotless, well-designed, and thoughtfully maintained. It’s one of the cleanest, best-run campsites we’ve visited. If you’re looking for a peaceful, friendly place to stay with great access to stunning walks, Greenacres should be at the top of your list. We are already planning our next visit when they re-open for the 2026 season!
