Liked Site as described. Lovely views and quiet peaceful area. A walled dog walking field. The facilities are older but they are kept very clean. Paul runs the site and is a very helpful and friendly chap. A big field with pitches around the perimeter and plenty of room for children to play in the middle away from the pitches. It is about a 15 minute drive to Ripon which has a choice of supermarkets. Good area for touring around.
Disliked Nothing to dislike. If you are booking direct from Howgrave website you need to know that the numbering of the pitches starts at the bottom of the field and works towards the buildings at the top which is not clear on Paul's plan.

Liked Everything . Peaceful 5 van site. Robin friendly but not in your face. Biggles and Scooby really enjoyed the freedom of the secure dog field which was mown short. A proper dog field not just an apology for one. The site and field were well mown with grass taken away. Very pleasant views. Easy access from A65 yet little road noise. Great site for touring the beautiful Dale's.. stayed for a month and will be back next year.

Liked Easy access. On pitch power and water. Wifi available in bar area. Grand children liked the sport pitches which were not near the touring pitches. Toilet facilities spotless.
Disliked We were allocated pitch RAMBLER 4. Bad pitch under trees which nearly touched the van roof. The hard standing was not wide enough to take a caravan and awning and the grass section was 3 inches lower then the hard standing with a board dividing the two. A complete trip hazard. All vehicles had to be parked in front of the caravan which created a very congested cul de sac. Might be ok for camper vans and other areas looked roomier. Ours was a dark miserable pitch.
