Peregrine FHU gravel RV campsite (no awning)
Liked Absolutely stunning campsite. Stayed on a peregrine pitch which was fully serviced and had an amazing view (when it wasn't pouring with rain).
The facilities were spotless and and the shower/ toilet block was warm and the water was hot to have a shower. They even have free washing machines and one tumble dryer which I just thought was amazing.
We spent a couple of hours in the pool which was warm and very clean....and again free. There are changing facilities and toilets right next to the pool.
We didn't use the games room but did have a walk through again it was spotlessly clean had two pool tables and air hockey table....all games were £1 I think ans they had plenty of books and a TV to keep you entertained. They also had several electrical sockets dotted around with usb charges to be able to charge your devices while you chill on the sofas.

From the manager: Thank you, Alison, for your fantastic review and for sharing your wonderful photos with us! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay on one of our Peregrine pitches and that you were able to appreciate the stunning views, even between the rain showers. It's great to know that our facilities, pool, and amenities helped make your stay such an enjoyable one. We're particularly pleased that you found the shower block, games room, and pool area spotlessly clean, as our team works hard to maintain high standards across the park. It's also lovely to hear that the complimentary washing machines and swimming pool were such a positive surprise and added extra value to your stay. Thank you for highlighting the family-friendly features around the park, from the games room to the comfortable communal spaces. Feedback like yours means a great deal to us and helps future guests understand what they can expect when staying at Morfa Bychan. We really appreciate your recommendation and are delighted that there was nothing to dislike about your visit. We hope to welcome you and your family back again soon, hopefully with a little more sunshine next time! The Morfa Bychan Holiday Park Team 😊

Powered grass campsite
Liked Clean facilities, easy to get to and easy to travel to surrounding areas given its just off an A road. Very reasonably priced bar.
Disliked Lack of signal you can get 15 minutes free wifi/ you can pay by the day/ week for up to 5 devices it was £4 for a day. I would download videos and plan days out before you leave as well as routes you want to travel.
Could be more there for kids.......I will say we didn't look in the games room

Liked Clean facilities lots of sinks available to wash dishes and plenty of taps dotted around the site. Walking distance of a beach and local village.
Disliked We had a very small pitch but other pitches seemed very generous, we were flanked on each side by quite large caravans with awnings which took up quite a lot of space and they were very loud particularly at night.

Primitive grass and earth travel trailer campsite
Liked Very peaceful, clean but basic facilities and lots of nature.
Close to a pub and it was easy to get an Uber into Reading....cost about £15 each way from The Bull Inn....didn't go in but looked like a lovely pub
Disliked You need to be very careful walking across the field....there are lots of dips/ small holes that are hidden by long grass.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback. It’s very useful information about Uber prices. Also, The Bull has had very good reviews from our campers. We note your comments about the uneven ground. The wet winter has caused some ruts and we are working towards filling them in as soon as possible. Thank you for letting us know your thoughts. We remind guests that sturdy footwear is advised at all times.

Power optional grass and gravel RV campsite
Liked The pitches were beautiful lots of bird life around and the play area and the games room were great for my 7 year old son.
The facilities were clean and so so warm, the shower in the womens had good water pressure.
There is lots in the local area there is a sainsburys, the range, Greg's, KFC and McDonald's less than 5 minutes away.
Disliked I did find the site quite noisy there is a lot of noise that comes from the A road very close by. It does die down after 'rush hours' and Saturday morning was also quiet.

Liked Lovely peaceful campsite I would highly recommend it to families in particular. Charlotte the owner made a point of introducing herself and make you feel welcome. The toilets, kitchen and showers are spotless and there is a shed with information on the local village, take aways and local attractions. Charlotte has also added a small pantry where you are able to purchase small handy items via an honest box.
The walk to the village us around 10 minutes and I can highly recommend the Oakhill Inn its a beautiful pub and the food was outstanding. There is a small park with football pitches and a little cafe just behind the campsite for the kids.
I will definitely coming back.

Liked Very spacious pitches and very clean and warm shower/ toilet block. Check in was easy and everything was explained clearly. I didn't use the cleaning facilities as I had food in the pub next to the site. Lovely food - would recommend booking a table in advance if you want to eat there.
Disliked Welsh weather! Haha
Would have liked to have seen a fire wood/ kit for sale as there are few shops locally.
No wifi but I had full 4G signal on 02

From the manager: Thanks for your lovely review. The local shops sell firewood and I think it’s important to support local businesses
