Plock power optional cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Really good site. The entrance set the tone....lovely clear signage, flowers around the office and grasses in a plot. Reception has a small shop selling basics. The gent who met us showed us the amenities. We had a pick of pitch as there were a few to choose from . Large level hardstanding....if you're pitching an awning you need strong pegs! Very well laid out. Washing up area and showers etc were spotless. We didnt ask about WiFi but didn't need it. One of the best sites we've stayed at.

Power optional grass campsite (small)
Liked Great central location to see Pembrokeshire.
The pub food was very good....acceptable prices. Pleasant staff.
Wide plot if a little uneven.
Developments on site are on-going but we felt the price was good for where they are at the moment. Toilets etc were clean.
Good play area if you have children.
Really friendly owners who are passionate about what they have planned for the campsite. We wish them lots of luck.
We would come again if in the area.

Powered gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Very quiet site... beautifully kept, showers etc were spotless. Helpful staff in reception. Pitch was spacious. Wi-fi worked well on our pitch....even for streaming. Bus stop in the village centre for buses to Leominster....timetable from reception. Village is lovely...community shop and pubs. There are local walks but we didnt have time to do any...next time.
Disliked It was a walk to toilet/shower...dark at night, so maybe need a torch.

From the manager: Thank you for the lovely review we are so glad that you had your stay with us here at Arrow Bank. We have a great team here who look after the site and help with the park. Having Eardisland right next door means we are in the perfect village location. We hope to see you in the future at Arrow Bank
Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, England
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Large site with spacious pitches. You are taken to your pitch by a man in a golfbuggy...personal touch. Showers/toilets are clean. Easy walk into Ross-on-Wye, where there are lots of nice shops and cafes etc. Morrisons nearby for supplies.
We had a grass pitch with EHU....they asked us to use a breathable groundsheet.. we used one but our driveaway awning had a sown in groundsheet so it did make the grass go yellow...sorry.
Disliked Entrance through an industrial estate could be off putting, but not an issue. No Wi-Fi.

Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely adults only site. Great facilities....new and spotless. Good size pitch, some hedging between pitches so felt private. Great location for the bus (no 94) to Cheltenham (2 miles...we walked there, bus back) and Gloucester (6 miles)....bus stops outside the camp site. Asda a short walk away. KFC and a Harvester also nearby....book the Harvester...they were understaffed and weren't accepting walk-ins when we went)
Disliked Only down side was the noisy road next to the site....mainly during the day.

Power optional grass and gravel RV campsite
Liked New site, good hard standing pitches with EHU. Well spaced out. Toilets/showers are basic but new. Has a bar in the peak season. Hot water for washing up ...with washing up liquid. Plenty of bins. Safe....big gates with entrycode to get in & out. Pleasant owner. Thanks Matt.
Disliked Toilets/showers are a bit cold....possibly costly to heat but I decided to skip a shower on a cool Nov morning.

Powered grass and gravel campervan campsite
Liked Small site in a good location for west Lake District. Pitch was good, fairly flat. Next to a fast running small river. 2 toilets/sinks/showers (50p for a 10 minute shower) were clean. Good pub literally next door. Andy (site manager) was helpful.
Disliked Pot wash water wasn’t always hot enough. Wi-fi was hit and miss sadly.

Powered grass and gravel campsite
Liked Lovely friendly site. Nice pitch although I will need chock blocks if I visit again as it was slightly sloped. Quiet site. Nice children's play area...my relatives were allowed on site and their 3 year old enjoyed playing there. Facilities (toilets and showers) were old but spotlessly clean...very impressed. Even the ladies had free sanitary stuff if you needed it. Pot wash was never busy. Didn't use the washing machine. Short walk in to St Cyrus for a pub meal (very good) and to the viewpoint. Recycling bins 👍
Disliked No WiFi but I just slaved off my phone.

Powered gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Close to Coldstream. Helpful reception, including telling us about a local event. Pitch was fine. Had microwaves in the pot wash area, although we didn't use them.
Disliked Not enough toilets or showers for the number of tourer and tent pitches .....there were a lot of people on site so had to take pot luck with availability. Toilets were dirty when the tent pitch area was full of large tents and lots of people. Only 1 home-size washer and dryer so possible wait to use them too.

Whitby, North Yorkshire, England
Power optional gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Reception lady was very helpful regarding walks from the site (easy reach of the Cleveland Way to Whitby & Robin Hood's Bay)and buses to and from the village to Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay/Scarborough (half hourly in summer but they can get full, so be prepared for a wait if one goes sailing by). Pitch was good & level....pay for electric by purchasing cards at reception....about a £1 per night. Excellent wi-fi included. Great facilities....clean toilets, basins and showers. 1 laundromat size washing machine £4/wash, and dryer £3/drying load. There was a cafe/bar but we didn't use it. It serves meals on some nights.
Disliked Nothing...apart from customers who left the shower area swimming with water...not the owners fault.

Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Nice site. Good spacing. Level pitch. Shower block spacious and very clean, showers hot. Washing up facilities also clean. 35 mins (approx) walk to Monks Cross P&R if you want to walk. National chain eateries at Monks Cross. Toby carvery 10 mins walk from campsite. Lighting outside was good at night. Reception - pleasant staff. Because we knew we would arrive just after reception closes at 5pm, I contacted the lady and she waited. However there is barrier and we could let ourselves in with a code and the lady gave us the pitch number.
Disliked Separate toilets from the larger washrooms would be good. We were in a campervan so if the shower rooms were full, you couldn't just go to a toilet.

Alfold, Surrey, England
Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Lovely new hard standing (gravel) pitch with electric hook-up. Plenty of space between plots. Quiet site. Social club for a bar. Kitchen for washing up and toilet/shower block.
Disliked No hot water in the kitchen even though it said on a notice by the tap that water was very hot...the boiler obviously wasn't working.
My husband said the shower was cold and was filling up in the tray, so he gave up. I didn't bother. Not really enough facilities for the busy season.
