Powered cement/asphalt RV campsite
Liked I'm a Boomer who spent his holidays in The Lake District on farms and fields and this ticked all my boxes. If you dislike farms or dogs or smells or great views and friendly owners go elsewhere and leave this to those of us who like the real Lakes 😄
Disliked I never got round to meeting Donk the donkey.

Liked Loads of space. Very neat and tidy. Half an hour walk in to seahouses and at least half of that the dog was off his lead. Nice dog walk field for early morning or late night wanders
Dark skies and nice views
Disliked Little bit of farm traffic but that's the countryside, and wasn't too early for campers.

Power optional grass campsite
Liked Plenty of space although the site was quite busy. Toilets were the Sports club toilets so were in a clean, dry brick building. Didn't use the showers but peeped in and they looked good. Village easy walking distance for a Pint at The Woolpack. Bus Stop in the club car park which is handy. Plenty room for kids to play if you bring them.
Disliked Check the arrival instructions before travelling because apparently one of the roads in has a height restriction which may affect your vehicle.

Liked Friendly greeting upon arrival, Mike couldn't have been more helpful. Loads of flat level space. Plenty room for the dog and a lovely quiet walk up the lane too. Facilities more than adequate and well looked after. The locally made honey is beautiful. Friendly horses, goats and chucks. I'm sure I saw Mike rescue a cat from a tree and pretty sure he also helped an old lady with her shopping. What a bloke. Sam was ok too. Definitely on our "call again" list. Thanks.

Liked Well set out with plenty of space. Well manicured and tidy. Plenty space to run the dog. excellent toilets and free showers. Pub...just there....About 200m walk to the fabulous Air museum. Do not miss the Lancaster Taxying, worth the entrance fee alone. Chatted to several friendly villagers too. We were also treated to RAF Phantoms overhead...bonus.

Liked All the "staff" were really friendly and up for a natter and help where they could. Huge site catering for single campers to large family / friends groups, but not too noisy, nice to see and hear kids running round and playing with each other.
Disliked The only catch that I can see is that there are no designated pitches if that's what you are used to. It's very much "camp where you like" which does have it's advantages but I can see trouble brewing when it's very busy.
