Liked This was our 4th or maybe 5th visit and we keep returning because we love the scenery and peaceful atmosphere and our son really loves playing in the stream, on the trampoline, and chatting to the chickens. The cave bar was open this time, and it was a lovely cosy spot to enjoy a drink.

Disliked This time we were charged £15 for a firepit, none of which is now refunded. That didn't include the wood. This seems really steep, especially when we only stayed one night. And we had to lug the firepit and wood to the far end of the campsite ourselves, whereas in previous years they delivered it to our pitch in the carts. Otherwise, no complaints! :)

Liked Peaceful, good location, great views, farm shop cafe/bar had nice food/atmosphere.

Disliked Just a minor thing, but it was difficult to park the camper due to the sloping field

Liked Really good value for money, nice and peaceful site (not at all rowdy which you might expect so close to the madness of Skegness!), friendly owners, lovely 15 min stroll to the beach at Huttoft.

Disliked Just a minor point but it is a good trek to the loo if you're put where we were, near the play park. A portaloo down the end would be good! :)

Liked The camping pods appeared to be brand new. They were lovely and cosy, nice and warm at night, and there was a good amount of space to relax around the pod. The facilities in the touring area were also good. Toilets and showers were clean. My son enjoyed the climbing wall and the young lad that was running that was fantastic.

Disliked The people. There were a massive amount of adults under the influence and being loud and sweary while tired and overstimulated kids ran riot in the soft play and arcade. While this isn't the fault of staff, I think they could do more to make it better; e.g. make sure smoking is only in designated areas, having staff in the arcades to stop kids climbing on machines/taking food into softplay etc, not serve people at the bar who are clearly incapable of looking after their kids. Secondly, the bar. There was not enough staff on to serve customers and keep the tables clean. It was filthy, we had to clear our own table to sit down. Staff would regularly walk past dirty tables without clearing plates away. They were also pretty rude. Food was lukewarm, pizzas undercooked.
