Crickhowell, Powys, Wales
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked It was a fantastic experience staying at Canp Crick
Unrivalled views. Each pitch feels private, loads of room
Easy to find - met and welcomed by the family, who cannot do enough to help
Close to Crickhowell for shops, the beautiful river Usk and historic canal
Facilities were eco friendly but the owners had made this charming and practical
Loved a cold shower straight from the stream
What an experience!
Only wish we had found it sooner in the holiday period
Huge thank you for a great stay
Disliked Nothing it was perfect

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The ease of it all. Clean facilities and beautiful setting. The campsite is walking distance from Crickhowell and close to Brecon. You can climb Sugar loaf and Tabletop Mountain or walk the Canal path.
Debbie was very nice to us too!!
Disliked My partner felt accused of pitching up and not checking in properly
When we arrived the gates were open
We called the number no reply so proceeded as the pitch number was on the email
We thought there would be an office to check in at but there is just a toilet block
He said he was then told our tent was in slightly the wrong place. Directly in front on post rather than to the right of the post!
There are only 2 toilets and 2 wash basins. With only 16 pitches it didn’t pose a problem for us but the campsite was very quiet.
