The site’s name promises flowers… and flowers it certainly provides (plus plenty of other greenery too). Camping De La Route Fleurie, a kilometre and a half from Saint-Georges and three kilometres from Hesdin, has been set up to help guests make the most of the fab Pas-de-Calais countryside while also doing its eco-friendly best to preserve those splendid surroundings. It’s all about ‘the pleasure of simple things’ they say here… be that a sociable drink at the bar, a bit of time helping the nippers follow the nature guides to spot signs of animal life or taking a seat to gaze out over the rural views. Nature-themed activities run on site for the small sorts, and there’s space to play games or wander around at your own pace too, taking in the trees, flowers and veg patch as you wander. Veg patch caught your eye? Yep, this is the source of much of the organic food served up on site, at the restaurant or the sociable themed meals; what can’t be grown here is brought in from other producers around the surrounding 7 Valleys area. That eco-friendly attitude also stretches to lots of other little touches: you’ll see rainwater harvesting and veg composting in action, and guests can play their part by sorting waste ready for reuse and recycling. As you may guess, the top activities around this area are equally wholesome: the folk on site can recommend places for such things as hiking, canoeing, archery and mountain biking (and they can hire you bikes for your outings too). There’s a games room and pétanque area on site too if you fancy staying a little closer to home for some gentle activity.

Liked: We can not say we liked anything about this site ! !
We arrived at 4 pm as the site as requested , there was a bingo event going on in the Bar/ reception and it was interval time , to get to the check in we had to wade through 10+ people who were right outside the door smoking , we held our breaths as we passed through

Disliked: I am sorry but we disliked everything about this site it was very
Untidy , pitches very un level and very long grass it had been raining but grass looked like it hadn’t been cut in weeks
Toilet block and wash up area not very welcoming , 1 shower but drain was blocked so water over flowed not very nice !!
It was mostly residential statics that weren’t kept up to standard , very untidy ( Trailer park came to mind )
The chemical toilet point was a open drain under a flag that didn’t drain away it as just sat there could see the t**ds from previous people emptying 🤮totally disgusting

Robinson primitive grass campsite

Liked: Location was convenient for stop en route from Calais to southern France.
Very friendly site with optional bar and activities. Quiet location and east access to Le Touquet.
Reasonable price.

Le frigo qui était "à coté" de votre emplacement n'était pas une prestation inclue dans votre forfait, donc oui il était débranché. Pour l'absence de personnel, nous vous avons accueilli et réceptionné votre réservation, je ne comprends pas ? de même pour le barbecue noir ?
Et la vidange bouchée, je n'ai pas eu de retour à ce propos.
Je suis désolée que votre séjour n'ai pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes.

You arrive AFTER the hour of the reception, do you know that somes campings don't accept people who arrive after the hour ?
Yes, the reception is open at 4pm to 6 pm and you have this information on your confirmation by pitchup.
I was on the camping and show you your pitch, the problem with the plug last 10 minutes.
I ask you if All was OK, you say me "Yes it's ok" , why do you put this kind of comment ??

Liked: Convenient for stop over before returning for Calais the next day. Clean bathrooms.

Disliked: Think most of this site is now residential and 2nd home statics/mobile homes. Not great for dog walks in fact couldn't find one nearby. Couldn't find anywhere to empty chemical waste except down the main toilets. Most expensive site on our two week stay.

Liked: Nothing. Did not stay. Moved to a better site 45 miles away.

Disliked: No one at reception.
Restaurant and bar dirty, looking through the dirty windows.
Site could in no way fit our 8 metre motorhome.
Can not recommend.
We sent an email to the site for a refund, but probably will not here from them.

You arrive at 2pm , go into the camp whithout my authorization : arrivals are from 4pm to 6pm, it was noted on your confirmation and on the door of the reception.
The pitch you booked is 13 meters by 10 meters, your vehicle passed widely.
How do you know the bar is dirty since you haven't gotten into it ???
