Disliked We had booked three nights here, nothing was cleaned the entire time we were there, and clearly hadn’t been for a long time as there were empty toilet roll tubes strewn everywhere. Just two toilets with seats, the others either long drop or broken. The two with seats were just filthy. Weird clear windows into the toilets and showers which made me uncomfortable. I didn’t use the pool, as if they aren’t cleaning toilets and showers, then I definitely don't trust the pool to be hygienic! No staff around. When we had a problem with the washing machine difficult to get hold of anyone, no one ever seemed to be on reception. Advertised as speak French and English, I don’t know who speaks English as we struggled to
Communicate. The worst campsite we have stayed on in France. There was a young couple next to us who had been travelling for several weeks and also said it was the worst campsite they had stayed on. I see so many previous reviews about cleanliness and the campsite has seen them and responded that they appreciate the comments and will improve, but this seems to be empty words. It’s a shame as it is a lovely setting with great potential, but I would not stay here again.

Liked Lovely welcome, friendly staff. Very easy going. Invited to a soirée by owner.
Great location for getting in to and out of the mountains.

Disliked Little rough around the edges but it’s charm grew on us over the stay.

Liked Large, spacious pitches that we could choose, access to good laundry system, the staff were welcoming and helpful. Free wifi at pitch. A visit to Chateau de Mauvezin is a must (10 mins drive away).

Disliked The campsite felt quite tired - a number of sinks/toilets/showers not working - and compared to other sites we stayed on, it was not kept as clean (e.g. floors not mopped etc.). Need to provide own toilet paper and limited toilets with a seat.

Nuestro establecimiento dispone de un bloque sanitario principal, mantenido regularmente, y sentimos que su estado no haya estado a la altura de lo que esperaba durante su visita. Tomamos nota de sus comentarios para mejorar la limpieza y el mantenimiento de nuestras instalacion

Liked Relaxed vibe (didn’t mind us moving pitches when we decided the first one was not flat and too near very noisy road). Shaded pitches. Kind man on reception - printed out list of local attractions for us. Electricity and WiFi (better signal once we’d moved). Handy location, just a short drive from Pyrenees.

Disliked Site could do with a tidy up so looks smarter - first pitch offered to us had piles of old wood next to it. And similar piles (eg of old, broken wood/equipment) behind motorhome water station.
