Liked Lovely shady pitches

Disliked We had booked three nights here, nothing was cleaned the entire time we were there, and clearly hadn’t been for a long time as there were empty toilet roll tubes strewn everywhere. Just two toilets with seats, the others either long drop or broken. The two with seats were just filthy. Weird clear windows into the toilets and showers which made me uncomfortable. I didn’t use the pool, as if they aren’t cleaning toilets and showers, then I definitely don't trust the pool to be hygienic! No staff around. When we had a problem with the washing machine difficult to get hold of anyone, no one ever seemed to be on reception. Advertised as speak French and English, I don’t know who speaks English as we struggled to Communicate. The worst campsite we have stayed on in France. There was a young couple next to us who had been travelling for several weeks and also said it was the worst campsite they had stayed on. I see so many previous reviews about cleanliness and the campsite has seen them and responded that they appreciate the comments and will improve, but this seems to be empty words. It’s a shame as it is a lovely setting with great potential, but I would not stay here again.

Disliked Take toilet roll in with you, none in the communal toilets. We were told WiFi only works in the vicinity of reception but we couldn’t even pick it up there.

Liked We absolutely loved our stay at the barn. What a quirky beautiful place with such a happy feel. The owners were lovely, and helpful. The site was beautiful, and a short walk to a beautiful secluded beach. We even saw a seal! The owners have added lovely personal touches to the caravan, and it was well equipped and stocked the basics - toilet roll, soap, washing up liquid, cloths etc, as well as with games, colouring books etc. Who needs a tv! I had a perfect weekend with my two nieces and two daughters. We will definitely be back, a great find. Thank you!

Disliked Very little space for food prep in the kitchen, but that's not worth moaning about.
