General
Le Chapeau Chinois is only one hour away from the Alsace region and the Massif des Vosges. Situated in the small town of Villersexel in the Comté region which has just 15,000 inhabitants, the surrounding area is full of historical character within a wonderful green setting next to the l'Ognon and Scey rivers.
The campsite borders the River L'Ognon along a 500m-stretch of curving riverbank. The natural unspoilt character of the valley where the campsite is located, offers all sorts of adventures, games and activities for children and adults alike: dam building, natural slides and river rafting down small waterfalls. There's also a playground for children when they need a change from being water babies.
Guests can enjoy the delightful location of this site from the comfort of a two- or three-bedroom holiday home. There is a bar and restaurant just 200m from the campsite for evening drinks and dining and you can pick up essentials at the supermarket one kilometre away, or in the shops in the nearby town just two kilometres away.
