What customers say
This serene, roomy campsite boasts lovely rural views and a chill vibe. Hosts are often praised for being friendly & helpful. Basic, but clean, compost toilets are well-kept. Families love the kids' play area & woodsy activities. Some mention no showers/hot water, but many enjoy the "back to basics" feel. Great spot for exploring.

Liked Views, chilled vibe, friendly helpful owner, large pitches with plenty of space between them.
Disliked Another campers dog not kept on a lead which was disrespectful to other campers and is just lazy dog ownership. No fault of the campsite owners though.

The couple who run it are very friendly and drove through the site twice during our one night stay in the early evening offering fire pits, burgers to buy etc and checking all was well.

Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked This place is fantastic, easy to find with the great instructions provided. The pitch was big enough with plenty of space between pitches. It was nice that you could choose your own pitch. We had 11 which I think is one of the best. Site facilities simple & perfect for a more of a simple camp without all the mod cons! Chloe was very welcoming and always replied straight away to any of my queries . We purchased the sausages & burgers which were fantastic! I am definitely returning as this site is situated nicely between Monmouth, Skenfrith castle ( perfect place for a dip) and Abergavenny. Thank Chloe & Ben for the perfect stay.
