Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked: Stunning surroundings and there was no noise except from the nature around you. Very clean toilet area, genuine hot water in the showers and washing up areas. Good size pitches which are pretty flat. Its great to get a picnic table and fire pit area on the pitch. The owner was lovely, polite and very helpful.
Disliked: I know that midges are part of nature in some areas and yes you can wear insect repellent etc. But if you really hate them, then you will not enjoy the evenings here. They are horrific. Especially if there’s no wind to keep them away.

Liked: Our stay at Dinas Caravan Park and Camping was truly memorable. As a young couple, we found the experience both refreshing and rejuvenating. The host was exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, which set a positive tone for our entire visit. The site itself, while basic, offers all the necessary facilities. The free hot showers, clean toilets, and available electric points met our essential needs. The ability to have campfires added a charming touch to our evenings, enhancing the camping experience. What truly sets this campsite apart is its stunning location. Nestled in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, the natural beauty surrounding the site is breathtaking. We were enveloped by the majestic Rhinog mountains and had easy access to picturesque sandy beaches, providing the perfect backdrop for our stay. The campsite's split into lower and upper fields allowed for a sense of privacy and seclusion, especially the upper field, which is surrounded by oak trees. Activities like ball games, den building, and cycling on quiet lanes made it ideal for both relaxation and adventure. Overall, Dinas Caravan Park and Camping is a fantastic destination for nature lovers and those seeking a tranquil escape. The combination of basic yet adequate facilities, incredible scenery, and the warm hospitality of the host made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this hidden gem in the Snowdonia hills.

Liked: This is really a superb location. Lovely scenery. A lake within ten minutes walk. Glorious walking/hiking .. tough in the wet! A great feeling of privacy, We stayed in the hut - very warm and cozy with electricity. All facilities clean. Hosts very helpful and freindly.
Disliked: Perhaps in time the site should have a designated cooking area for use in poor weather.
