What customers say
This well-kept campsite boasts incredible mountain views and a tranquil vibe. Guests rave about the gorgeous setting and easy riverside stroll to Beddgelert village. Pitches are spacious, and facilities are clean, though a bit dated. Staff are friendly & helpful. Perfect for hikers with trails right from the site. WiFi's there, but cell service is weak. Some saw midges & a few found it pricey, but most loved it and want to return.

Perfect site for exploring clean facilities, felt very peaceful
Powered grass campervan or tent campsite
Liked Loved our first camping trip 3 nights at Cae du with two young children. Amazing views and so much space. The family zone and picnic areas were perfect for our kids to play and we especially liked being able to go on fun walks straight from the campsite and along the river without having to drive. Lovely little playground and cafe for ice cream and coffee at sygun mine only a short walk away and beddgerlet village another lovely short walk from the campsite. Facilities were all close by and well maintained. We will definitely come back and explore some more :) thanks
Disliked As first time campers we couldn’t fault the place, maybe in the family zone area a some playground equipment would be fun for the kids.

Liked We arrived and were advised of the pitch we had been allocated. We made our way and found the site to be water logged as it had been raining heavy the night before.
I asked if they had alternative and we were offered another pitch.
Overall the site is clean and neat and well maintained. Staff very friendly and pleasant. The riverside walk is a lovely bonus especially if you like a nice walk in the evening.
Lots of local walks from the site without the need to take the car, which is a bonus.
Disliked Lack of toilets and showers for such a big site

Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Beautifully situated site with great views! The amenities on site was clean having seperate areas including showers, toilets, seperate sinks/sheltered seating for dining and a laundry room including washing machines and dryers if needed. I also noticed that there were regular cleaning and maintenance checks. The staff on site was pleasant, also helpful with recommendations of the local area, there was also an information hub available for guests. The site being close to the watkins path for the hikers who wish to get to the snowdon summit and the Watkins waterfalls, lakeside walks, wild swimming, sygun copper mine and the very pretty Beddgelert village which was all accessible without the use of the car for our family. We was even lucky enough to capture a clear night sky for stargazing.

fantastic site. Cant wait to return!!
Powered grass campervan or tent campsite
Liked Site was really clean, river runs down the side and around, loads of places to swim/paddle. Or theres a massive lake a short walk away!
Easy walks all around or harder if you choose. Copper mine is just at the end of the site so great walk with a park!
Staff went out of their way to accommodate us as we traveled with family and situated us close by!
Disliked We loved our stay.
Theres nothing much to dislike.
Id just say theres a family field to play on as ball games are not allowed on site. But it would have been great if there was a little
Play area or even goals for the kids.
