Beautiful place, great hosts and everything you need
Shepherd's hut
Liked You have to go here to experience it . Liked everything from the owners welcome to the day we left . It was amazing little gem. Lovely Shepherds hut surrounded by the very welcoming Alpacas in the field and the chickens and ducks walking around very friendly. The shower block is unfaultable from shower creams to hairdryer and straighteners and everything ladies need in the bathroom.
The kitchen facilities are amazing , its shared with the other guests and a lovely basket waiting for each hut/pod with some welcome goodies including marshmallows for the fire pit . The skewers are in the kitchen too. Everything a kitchen needs is there. Pans, cups crockery, cutlery, travel mugs for walks ( to borrow), Tea coffee sugar etc and some milk in your shared fridge. The owners have thought of everything and if you want a good breakfast, you can order the local products from Claire and she will have them in your basket ready for the next day for you to cook. I think its about £10. We ate out sooo I am not sure but its near that. Leather sofas in the kitchen area and a full sized dining table, a dart board and a pile of board games should the weather keep you indoors. All in all a lovely place. A lovely lake outside the main house which also is a giest house. Dog friendly huts/pods, our little pug loved the hut she was very chilled. Sit outside the hut with your own firepit provided or BBQ which you can purchase from the owner in the kitchen area as well as wood logs and kindling and food goodies if you may need a snack , she has stuff to purchase . Betws y coed is just 15min max in the car , 8mile straight into the centre, lots of car parking and plenty of places to eat/drink. Lots of lovely walks around too. Sitting there at night by the fire was magical.
