What customers say
This clean, friendly campsite is in a beautiful area, perfect for exploring the Brecon Beacons. Guests rave about the spotless washrooms, roomy pitches, and helpful staff. The on-site pub is a big plus for food and ambiance. Mostly quiet, though the pub can get a bit noisy. Great value, highly recommended!

Liked Lovely little campsite. The lady on check in was very friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers are good, and kept very clean, nice little pub in front of the campsite. Would definitely stay again.

Liked Very friendly staff. Very clean facilities. Great to have the pub really close! The picnic benches were useful to use when the weather was changeable (so we didn't have to get our chairs in and out all the time!). Great location for attractions.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Glad you enjoyed our clean facilities, I’m always trying to improve or add so I may try to get more picnic benches for customers to use next season.
We look forward to seeing you again.

Lovely, and welcoming host. Thank you for the stay it was great
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely location, 10 mins drive to the waterfalls (in a van) which is a great walk and explore.
Facilities were perfect.
Disliked Lots of groups of loud people. But that's to be expected over a bank holiday weekend. We had no major issues with this, but not a place for a 'quiet camp'
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Glad you enjoyed the waterfall and area, sorry about the loud people but bank holidays do tend to be louder than general weekends. There is a curfew and as a general rule, people do adhere to this.

Liked Lovely host and great facilities. In a brilliant location for seeing the beautiful sites of Wales.
Disliked The entrance to site has a gate but this remains unlocked and open so less secure. Other noisy guests.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Lovely spacious pitches, quiet location with nearby river and waterfall walk which was very enjoyable.
Lady on site was very helpful and friendly.
Toilets and showers were never too busy.
Disliked Showers were occasionally lukewarm, this was more late evening but morning and early afternoon seemed to be ok.
There could be some cleaning equipment in the toilet/shower block so people could clean up after them selves.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Glad you enjoyed area. As I’ve previously mentioned, I’m sorry if you e had a lukewarm shower but if there have been a load of people using the showers on the bank holiday weekend the water needs time to reheat.
Looking forward to your return visit.

Liked Was met by the friendly campsite owner. It’s a quiet site in a beautiful location near to many places to visit.
Toilet/shower/washing up block very clean.
Disliked If you went for a shower too late the water wasn’t very warm.
The bins were overflowing

From the manager: Glad you enjoyed the location of the site
The water temperature is kept the same throughout the season, sometimes if a load of people have used showers over a prolonged period, the water needs time to re heat
I have a BIG problem with people not recycling. There are plenty of bins provided it’s just that some people can’t be bothered and just put all their rubbish in generally waste. I hope you used the recycling facilities.
