From the manager: Hi Selina
Thank you for your feedback.
Our campsite is designed as a quiet, remote getaway, and our rural location is clearly shown on Google Maps, which we would recommend folk checking out before booking.
Because we are rural, we provide on-site cooking facilities and a well stocked honesty shop so hopefully no one goes hungry! As you only stayed with us for one night, we are surprised that the lack of nearby pubs and food shops affected your score - and in fact there is a very nice pub a two mile walk or 10 minute drive away from our site.
As a small business that proudly averages 9/10 and 10/10 reviews, it is disappointing to be penalised for a lack of food outlets, which is a natural part of our rural area and entirely beyond our control.
We hope you still managed to enjoy the peaceful environment during your short stay.
Theresa.

Liked We really liked how spacious the campsite was, the campsite was fully booked but everyone was pitched a good distance from each other. The facilities were good as well as the honesty shop being very fairly priced. We would 100% recommend.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked I love everything about this campsite, perfect location, amazing hosts and overall just a vibe. The pitches are spaced out so you can have your own privacy without having tents crammed up next to one another.
I’m always sad when I have to leave as I’m always feel at peace when I’m here.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Spacious, quiet, remote, no noise or light pollution, choose your own pitch, proper flushing toilets and nice camping barn and communal space (if you're in to that kind of thing) and most importantly no feral kids running around squawking!
