Beautiful quiet riverside spot with excellent facilities
Primitive grass campervan or tent campsite
Liked Amazing campsite - the lower field (non electric grass pitch) is huge and runs all along the river. We camped right next to the it and spent the evening watching the swallows and other birds on the river and the lambs frolicking in the field on the other side. It was very quiet (no road noise) and loads of space. The facilities were some of the best we've had in a long time - very new and clean and everything we needed including plenty of plug sockets and WiFi. Owners were incredibly friendly and helpful too!

Excellent site with amazing views

Liked Amazing 5 night break staying at a little piece of heaven on earth!
The views were breathtaking and the river was as serene and peaceful as it gets. The site was on the Mach Loop so for a few seconds that serenity was suspended but the sight and sounds of the planes only added to the magnificence (a big word but truly fitting).
The pitch itself was level with lush green grass either side. The toilets/ wash up space was always immaculate and warm in the mornings which would be welcome for campers.
Chris (the manager) was very welcoming and friendly, ready to answer any questions.
Overall, a wonderful, quiet, peaceful, beautiful site where you can recharge your batteries, we would not hesitate to recommend.
Hope to return soon
