What customers say
Lovely, peaceful riverside site. Guests rave about the quiet vibe & clean facilities. Owners are friendly & helpful. Spacious pitches, great showers, close to Elan Valley. Some facilities a bit dated, but always spotless.

We loved everything from peace and quiet, bird singing and stargazing
Shepherd's hut
Liked There was loads to like: firstly we have received very informative email with all important information. On our arrival we were warm welcomed, given a short description on the site facilities and then given a key to Shepherd's Hut, which to our positive surprise had a freedge, microwave, kettle and also a private bathroom. The site is real treasure for bird watching and listening. Very good location just 3 miles away from pretty small town of Llandrindod Wells. The area is with quite low light pollution so we could see stars at night. We really liked that the campsite was quiet site, there was no parties, big bonfires or noise. We would certainly be back!

A small friendly site but we wont use again
FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Small friendly site
Disliked Location, it is difficult to walk anywhere as it has to be along narrow country roads with cars driving very fast so doesn't feel safe. It should be noted that you really need a motor mover on any touring caravan you take her as the pitches are so tight to get into. We were lucky there were people available to help us push ours onto the pitch. Even so I damaged my car while trying to manoeuvre the caravan onto the pitch.
Showers are OK but small.

From the manager: As a pitchup user you are obviosly familiar with the internet, so why not research a location using Google Maps before you book! Being out in the countryside usually means roads without pavements. I am sorry you damaged your car manouvering on site maybe it might be worth investing in a Caravan and Motorhome Club or Camping and Caravan Club manouvering course as the pitchup reviews do not reflect your opinion. As to the shower size all of ours are domestic size the smallest being 800mm square. Enjoy your travels and possibly do a little more research before booking so you find somewhere that suits or invest in walking boots as there are numerous footpaths that meander away from Disserth.
