Beautiful, peaceful riverside campsite with friendly hosts. Praised for stunning scenery, quiet vibes, and great facilities like an honesty shop and outdoor showers. Ideal for walks and fishing, with spacious pitches. Some mention occasional motorbike noise and limited showers, with improvements expected.

Spotlessly clean and quiet, a perfect place for my one night stopover
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked It was just up the road from where I was meeting my walking group which is why I chose it. However to find it so clean and quiet was a delight, and I would definitely come back just to stay for a bit longer. The honesty shop is a nice touch as it's open 24 hours a day

Fantastic and tranquil place to stay
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The scenery, tranquility, the short walk to the river to see the beautiful sunsets, clean toilets and showers, small honesty shop with food supplies. The host was very helpful, quickly attending to needs of guests - bringing logs and firepits or answering questions. Would stay there again.
Disliked There were one or two less experienced campers, talking and swearing loudly at 7 am right by other people's tents. Not the hosts fault by any means - perhaps a sign might help but doubt it.
