What customers say

This is a beautifully clean, quiet, and well-maintained site in a secluded, wooded location by a river. Visitors praised the spotless, spacious, and well-equipped washrooms, with many describing the showers as the best they've experienced. The site offers direct river access for fishing and swimming. Owners are welcoming and helpful, and the location is peaceful, though some noted driving can be challenging on local roads and facilities may be limited during peak times.

Power optional grass and earth campsite

Liked It was small, quirky and pretty. The river was an added bonus for a keen cold swimmer. It was nice to be able to have a campfire (raised)

Disliked Only a little thing but having to walk on the busy road to book in

Power optional grass and earth campsite

Liked Very clean
Great water access
Showers lovely
Clean and tidy facilities
Beautiful small site

Disliked Smaller than expected
Found owner very abrupt and rude
Would probably not take kids there again as didn't get the feeling it was family friendly so felt on edge the whole time we were there that we didn't upset the owner
Road very noisy and although I am a country girl there is a cockeral that crows all hours days and night lol
