What customers say
Basic campsite with stunning mountain views and a "wild" feel. Super friendly staff (especially Joe!) and a unique "camera obscura" toilet. Offers basic kitchen, fire pits, and a craft brewery. Some found facilities basic for longer stays, but most loved the quiet, relaxed vibe and good value. Hot showers now available.

Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked Everything was fabulous! The facilities are great, the place has character. The owner is friendly, the scenery is lovely and it was so nice to have a fire. We also loved that we didnt have a strict check out time like other campsites so we didnt feel rushed to leave which was great as we like to sleep in! Highly recommend.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Sites like this are few and far between. High enough above the road, the views of the Nevis Range were stunning, and the site was basic in the best possible way, making it feel slightly “wild”. When I stayed, it was lovely and quiet, although I expect this will not last. There are composting toilets and a nice kitchen area with a barbecue outside.
A few metres away, you’ll find a very fine craft brewery with a shop selling local beer. Could it get any better…

Bloody Loved It!
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked I loved my stay here. I camped as a solo female. Felt very safe. Waking up to the views was just what I needed for a weekend away.
The compost toilets were kept regularly clean and there is still another toilet option that flushes/in a container for more privacy if you want it. Showers were warm and clean. Great amenities. Joe gave me a slab to use for my campfire.
Your surrounded by great views and the location is fab. There is so much to do around Nevis Gorge, Glencoe and Fort William. Tonnes of hikes and swimming spots.
Joe was lovely and friendly, was present and helpful.

Liked Location, view. Really nice, helpful staff. Kitchen area with fire, great for keeping the dreaded midge at bay. Beer shop.
Disliked If it's rainy, would be useful to have a shelter over the washing up sinks.

Great three night stay
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Great site. Really good views of the grey corries. Setup was easy and the beer from the onsite brewery was tasty.
Disliked Not really a dislike but a suggestion. I think for rainy days more of a cover over the washing up areas would be great.
