  • Among spectacular scenery a short stroll from the beach at Crail
  • A 20-minute drive from St Andrews and 45 from Fife
  • Heated outdoor pool and indoor play area

Golfers, boaters, beach fans, families, couples and heritage hunters: you'll surely approve of Sauchope Links Park in Scotland's Fife.

On the eastern tip of Fife, this is a place positioned to soak up sun, with spectacular Scottish views, and within walking distance of the historic town of Crail. It's a short drive from famed St Andrews and has outdoor pursuits aplenty to pursue in the surrounding area. And those beaches? The local sands at Crail are only a few minutes' walk away.

Amenities are kept spotless to ensure guests have as comfy and relaxed a time as poss; you'll find pursuits on site too, such as a heated outdoor pool and an indoor play area for the kids with pool and a football table.

You won't have to leave the park if you need emergency bits and bobs, as the site shop stocks basic essentials. But if you do want to stockpile stuff to be sure, local supermarkets are 10 minutes' walk away at Crail along a most scenic coastal path.

Novel and cosy accomodation with beautiful views

    Disliked:

Not enough information regarding wood for heating hot tubs. At least 4 bags needed. This should be stated somewhere when booking ,as check in is 4 pm ( the same time reception closes) there is no place to get extra wood on first night.

  • Liked:

The site was very clean and well presented. The location was perfect, we loved being right on the coast and coastal walk. The lodge was gorgeous and really well presented, it was great having the decked area to sit out on a morning with a cup of tea and look at the view. Hot tub was a great addition too.

    Disliked:

A few things we felt were missing from the lodge that would have just made the experience even better; hooks near the hot tub to hang towels/robes up, a mat by the bedroom door to wipe feet when coming in from the hot tub, an iron as our clothes were crumpled from travelling, tea/coffee/sugar provided and some more info for local area e.g places to eat/visit. Only small things but would have made a big difference.

Nice basic hut at the sea.08/14/2019

  • Liked:

It is a nice spot, the beach hut has sufficient space for two adults. You can look (over the campers) to the sea. Nice spot to do some walks along the Fife coastal path. The facilities (fridge, toaster and kettle) are proper.

    Disliked:

If there would a water available in the hut it would have been an even better experience, now it was in the toiletblock next to the beach hut. The beds were not very comfortable.
