Liked Always travel with my dog and this has an excellent secure dog field with access to the river...all of which my dog loves. The site was peaceful and staff friendly. Site was very tidy and well kept

Disliked Limited access to toilets and one shower facility amid the touring area, which has 15 pitches alone plus space for tents, unless we took a long walk through the park to the entrance for another 2 cubicles. The facilities available were immaculate and warm.

All of us at Newbridge Country Park really appreciate your positive comments.

Yes we are so lucky to have an amazing large dog walking field with a mowed path all the way around with a river along side some of the dog walk with access to the river for dogs. The dog walking field is available to anyone on site to walk around and has a couple of benches so you can sit and appreciate the beautiful countryside around us.

Your comments regarding limited access to toilets and one shower facility in the touring area, which has 15 pitches alone plus space for tents, unless we took a long walk through the park to the entrance for another 2 cubicles".
Our facilities offer a separate toilet and an en-suite type room with a shower, toilet and wash basin close to the touring site in the games room where there is comfortable seating and a TV where you can have a short wait until they become available.
Regarding the other 2 en-suite type shower rooms next to reception, are a short 2 minute walk from the touring area.

Hard to say as was so good. Wi-Fi wasn’t great (but had a good phone signal so could Hotspot ok) Paul we are surprised you found the Wi-Fi wasn't great as the majority of our campers say how good the Wi-Fi is. It's provided by Starlink.

Yes we have lovely spacious, level well kept pitches, that have lovely views of the beautiful Scottish countryside.

We work hard to keep our facilities clean and tidy for all our guests.

Just outside the site we have a good bus route to and from Dumfries, which is handy for those parked up on site with motorhomes.

Disliked zu wenig Duschen (eine!) für 15 Stellplätze
zu wenig WCs (2, davon eine bei der Dusche)
rutschiger Bodenbelag in der Dusche (Stutzgefahr)
die angegebenen weiteren WCs/Dusche benötigten einen längeren Fußmarsch
keine tägliche Reinigung der Sanitäranlagen

Wir freuen uns zu hören, dass Ihnen der Hundespazierbereich gefallen hat.

Es tut uns leid zu hören, dass Sie unsere Toiletten- und Duschmöglichkeiten für Ihren Aufenthalt als unzureichend empfunden haben und dass der kurze Weg zu unseren anderen Einrichtungen für Sie zu lang war. Viele unserer früheren Gäste haben uns mitgeteilt, dass der Weg zu den anderen Dusch-/Toilettenanlagen überhaupt nicht weit ist, besonders im Vergleich zu anderen Plätzen.

Unsere Einrichtungen werden täglich überprüft und aufgefüllt. Aber gelegentlich sieht es so aus, als hätten wir sie an diesem Tag nicht gereinigt, nachdem andere Camper sie nach der Reinigung genutzt haben.

Wir werden uns bemühen, die Duschmatte so schnell wie möglich zu ersetzen.

We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the dog walking area.

Sorry to hear that you thought our toilet and shower facilities were inadequate for your stay and that the short walk to our other facilities was too long for yourselves. Many of our previous guests have commented to ourselves that the walk to the other shower/toilet facilities are not too far away at all especially compared to other sites.

Our facilities are checked and replenished on a daily basis. But occasionally after we have cleaned the facilities other campers have used the facilities and it looks like we haven't cleaned them that day,

We shall endeavour to replace the shower mat as soon as possible.

Liked The pitches were well-maintained and spacious. There was a dog walk close by and good, clean facilities. Staff were also friendly and accommodating of our arrival (which was later than planned). We stayed in our rooftent without any issue. This is a great site, and we will definitely be back!
