Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely welcome. Spacious, mainly flat site, excellent for tents. Lots of electric access points. Very good shower facilities, lovely and hot. Excellent spot for exploring the islands either from Wemyss Bay to Bute or Largs to Great Cumbrai. We stayed in order to take the Waverley paddle streamer to Arran.

Powered grass tent campsite (medium)
Liked Lovely campsite just perfect for a trip to Millport or largs for the day. Nice big space and free roaming animals. The wheelbarrow was very handy as you can't park next to your pitch. We had a great time and have planned to come back again.
Disliked Only downside we found was how unclean the toilets and showers were. They are needing some love to bring them up to a decent standard. We have used lots of small and busy sites this year where the facilities close for cleaning around midday for a few hours. The cleaner didn't come until evening time. After they were cleaned you couldn't tell. I personally think a deep clean needs to happen for these to make improvements and to keep on top of this.

Liked We had a fantastic stay at South Whittlieburn Farm. The campsite is peaceful, spotless and very well looked after. The pitches are spacious, the facilities are clean, and the location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area. It felt safe and relaxing, and the children had a brilliant time.
