What customers say
This campsite offers beautiful, scenic views near Oban, with many guests commending the lovely scenery and helpful staff. Facilities are clean but some find them dated. While the peaceful vibe and spacious sites are appreciated, many mention uneven, muddy pitches (especially for larger rigs) and water supply issues. Some also noted ongoing construction.

Great site; beautiful location, friendly staff clean facilities
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked There is plenty of space to park and a friendly reception team to help when checking in who also provided a helpful guide for the local area. Reception had a decent supply of snacks/camping food too and they even offered a free pack of dog treats for guests with dogs which is a nice touch. There’s a nice little walk up to the top of the holiday park and looping back round to the lower field which is great for dog owners in particular. The setting is beautiful and on a clear evening sitting out was very pleasant with the sun slowly sinking behind the Isle of Kerrera keeping the campsite warm. Finally, the fields are really well maintained making pitching and staying in a tent straightforward and comfortable.
Disliked The old jetty at the bottom of the smaller tent field is a bit of a hazard and getting into the water is quite a challenge. This is a real shame as once you’re in the water it’s a lovely place to swim. Would be great to see some newer steps put in or something similar to make it a bit more accessible.

Liked Late check-in service is excellent.
Toilets facilities very clean given how busy the site was.

Great for view and communication, not great at all for the facilities.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The view, the amability of the people at the reception, the late-arrival procedure, the quietness of the camp site
Disliked The facilities - not enough toilets and showers, and once I finally managed to get a shower (after being told by the cleaner to go to the other building near the bungalows because she had to clean the showers at 9am...), it was cold, with 5-second spells of warm-ish water, otherwise freezing cold. In the evening, the mens toilets were not the cleanest, and very smelly - although I'm not sure you can do anything about it, and the womens toilets were good apparently.

Liked A really pretty setting for a campsite. I liked the free range pitch where you like approach.
Disliked No drinking water provided on the site with no pre warning of this. All the water is yellow in colour, the toilet and shower facilities were unclean and the washing up facilities only had cold water. The plumbing situation at this campsite needs some drastic improvements asap!

Disappointing.
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Friendly helpful staff
Disliked Disappointing. No set pitches, open field pitch where you like, proved difficult to find a suitable pitch with a close EHU point, quite a slope too, no views of the sea. Showers/ toilets - ladies only had 1 out of 3 showers working, gents you either got scolded or frozen, no hot water at sinks, toilet kept backing up. Water not safe to drink unless boiled, but even then didn't taste great (they are working on upgrading system). For information - single track roads to reach site. No WiFi and poor mobile service.

Disliked Water supply was unhealthy. 2 family members became ill 24hrs after leaving the site, even tho the water was boiled. Which is not a normal thing to have to do when paying for camping.
Poor facilities, site seemed more focused on lodges than the camping and caravaning.
