I would recommend the site and would return
Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Lovely quiet site which is well maintained. Really enjoyed our week stay there, was a perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas. Really liked the fact that it was protected by an electric gate which made you feel very secure
Disliked Not really a dislike, all I would say is that there are only 4 toilets, 2 with electric showers which are great. However if the site reached full capacity I don’t think these are sufficient to meet everyone’s needs.

Great little site with all the key essentials.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Peaceful, picturesque, and has the main facilities one would need - drinking water, washing up points, toilets, and showers (all of which were clean, modern, and fully functioning). Reasonably priced too.
Disliked It would be nice if there were some walking routes that could be accessed directly from the site. The canal isn’t too far but I had to leave the site, walk through the edge of town etc to get there and back again. If there were a direct route through the adjacent farmland that would be perfect (it might be that the adjacent land is owned by someone else though so maybe not possible but just a suggestion).
