Liked Not very much to like at this campsite
Disliked Campsite toilets were absolutely vile - hornets swarming the area in toilets & showers
Walking by the men’s toilets was a horrendous urine smell in the whole area
The bins were strewn all over the floor with clothes and underwear spilling out bags
Party that went on until the early hours with pumping music
Had to go and find another set of toilets to use by the washing machines which were slightly more clean and able to use.
Van doors slamming and grown men arguing by the other shower block.

Very dirty and unhygienic facilities

Liked The size of the pitch, that there were picnic benches available and that you were left to enjoy your break
Disliked This site had 2 sets of toilets, the toilets near the camp area were horrific, they had a cleaner who swept and mopped but that was it, no cleaning the toilet, no emptying the bin, no sides wiping over, no dusting above, and toilet roll well that was so so sparse we ended up going out and buying our own. We were only there for 3 days and you could tell the toilets had not been cleaned as the sick and shit in there was there on arrival and upon departure, there was poo smeared on the doors, over flowing sanitary bins. It just felt so dirty. The main toilets were better but only just, the sanitary bins were still very full but the whole presence felt cleaner than the camp site toilets. The men’s toilet had smashed glass over the floor.
The washing up section by the campsite was awful, 2 sinks, the one sink with the hot tap that stayed on when pressed, had no pipe work so the water would pour straight through onto the floor, which was gross having soggy food sprayed up onto your legs. The other sink the cold tap worked perfect but the hot tap had to be pressed every few seconds which is no good when trying to wash up. There was also drinking water which we avoided due to the state of it, we went to the shop and bought bottled water as there was no clear signage to say drinking water and the area was dirty so i did not trust it.
The site had a significant traveller presence which is no problem except for their kids, they were not pleasant and very mean to my children who just wanted to play and enjoy their holiday.
This site is very cheap to stay at and the price reflects that. We chose this site as our break was very last minute and it was all that was available. This site is fine for couples, the glamping pods look great but the toilet and cleaning facilities really let it down. I would not recommend this for families with young children.

Liked This seems to be a travellers site that’s open to campers . My first night here was disturbed by a non travelling family after they left two travelling families took their place and peace was restored . I don’t think they’d of took kindly to the noise the night before . They were lovely women . The men went out to work and when back had their meals and got to bed for work next day . No noise . No disrespect . Kept their pitches clean . Their kids clean ( god knows how as my kid was constantly grubby ! ). we went out every day as wasn’t quiet enough in the day due to traffic for me . Also we was on holiday and the site isn’t really a holiday park with anything much for kids as such .
Disliked Nothing really about the park but the road noisy all day and sadly other people there or kids were abusing the facilities and leaving them in a shocking state for the poor warden guy to clean up . Hats off to him because I don’t think I could have cleaned up the things I saw . People visiting here need to up their game and just gave bit more respect for the facilities because sites that allow travellers to stay can be a rare thing .

Liked Leaving
Disliked Arrived on site and felt very uncomfortable from the off. Kept driving round to try and find where we were meant to pitch. We couldn't get through because the road was blocked by a number of toys in the way.
Left the site immediately. Left very nervous and unsettled. Reached out to cancel the booking and requested a refund. No one has made contact. Found another lovely camp site a couple of miles away. The site information us the camp site we left was due to be raided and shouldn't be operating.

Liked Very large pitches nicely done with modern brick hard standing and boarders with shrubs on 3 sides plus a picnic bench on each pitch.
Disliked I didn’t use the facilities myself but my husband did and said the was only one loo roll in one of the gents toilets he said they weren’t the best but had seen far worse. The chemical waste could of been better but it did the job.Of an evening we got about three times the smell of cannabis and again in the morning which really isn’t a very nice smell to put up with.
