A Excellent site, great location in 4 days didn't use the car once
Powered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely quiet site with loads of room to relax
Our pitch was huge
It's a very peaceful and relaxing site for adults only 🙂
The toilets and showers were spotlessly clean. Is a 15 minute walk to the anchor inn pub which was excellent and well worth a visit. From this site you will hear road noise but it didn't bother us as the site is a little gem with plenty of bird life and hares will definitely return 😀
Disliked The only dislikes would be the road noise
But this is only minor at night
Showers were a £1 but is stops people hogging them
The washing up area could do with being covered
But these are all very minor and only recommendations it's a lovely relaxing friendly site

If it had more modern toilets and showers it would be a mega site

Liked Immaculate site.
Basic but super clean facilities. 1 shower 3 toilets. Laundry room, chemical waste dump. Washing up sinks.
Owner very friendly and offered information about local pubs, bus/train/ferry stops, all walkable distances.
Very spacious plots.
Disliked Busy road nearby. I had ear plugs and the noise didn't keep me awake.

Powered gravel and cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Our first time at this camp site, it was so relaxing. We had a nice pitch, although all the pitches looked good and plenty of space around. The woodland and countryside feel was great and all the birds twittering and the ducks waddling about and come to say hello.....and the geese and chicks were a delight to see
It's lovely and clean all around

Disliked 1) WiFi system didn’t like the extremely hot weather and was intermittent (site did give us our money back)

Powered gravel and cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Spacious pitches, lots of birds and other wildlife. Warm welcome. Not too far to walk for bus or train.
Shower kept clean
Disliked We were pitched quite far from the toilets or showers. Only 1 female and 1 male shower. £1 to operate, and the cord needs to be pulled before putting the £1 in, else you will lose the money. Was an ok shower, nice and warm for 7 minutes. Washing up area near us Only had cold water and no shelter. WiFi unavailable unless paying. Noise of road not too much of a bother.

Liked The site is scenic, all areas very clean
Disliked Only 1 shower available on site. Although quiet when we were there (April) I imagine it would be very annoying when busy. You have to pay for WiFi on site
