What customers say
This well-kept campsite boasts a prime location, close to Newquay and Perranporth. Reviewers often praise the superb pool, welcoming staff, and clean, tidy facilities, including roomy pitches. Most found it a quiet, family-friendly spot offering good value, though a few noted dated or skimpy washrooms, and that some amenities, like the arcade, were inconsistent.

Liked Nice location, close to some main beaches. Friendly staff.
Disliked We didn’t have the best experience at this holiday park, seems to be full of people who are very new to camping looking for a cheap holiday with little respect to the other people there. On the first night of our stay there was a huge group of adults having a party until 2am blasting music, and children playing football on our pitch yelling and using foul language until 1am. Wasn’t a peaceful stay in the slightest. When reporting the next day the staff expressed sympathy however, made no effort to go and confront the individuals about their behaviour. A man was drunk and passed out on the floor for hours and nobody went to go and speak to him. Bare in mind this was a family holiday park.
Furthermore, the toilet and shower facilities weren’t the cleanest and very small.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Fantastic resort. Really impressed with the facilities available. Campsite was lovely and well spread out, didn't feel on top of anybody. Staff were all lovely and super helpful.
Onside pub area was well kept and had a great atmosphere all through the day
Well situated and signed, 10 mins away from Crantock & Newquay. Close to Perranporth beach.
WiFi accessible in the main bar, doesn't quite reach the camping area
Disliked Not many toilets & showers available for tent camping. Unable to see when toilets available as all handles were green so people had to try the doors to see if they were free, could be quite anxiety inducing.
Staff were helpful to charge phones behind reception desk, but more access to plug sockets outside would be useful

A really friendly camping site that takes care of families.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked I really liked the friendly staff and the pitch locations. The swimming pool was really close and so was the entertainment. My two youngsters made lots of friends due to open pitches. They enjoyed the entertainment in the evening, my 4yr old loving the dance party.
Disliked Would really have liked a little shop on site. We had to leave most days to get to a supermarket to buy dinner. Although they did offer kids eat for a £1 with every adult meal. But an onsite shop would have been really handy.
We asked for soap in the toilets as there was no soap to wash your hands on the first day. No paper towels or hand drying facilities in the toilets.

Liked Spent a week here and was our children’s first tenting holiday, what an amazing place.
It was like watching my child hood all over again. All the kids playing bull dog, flying kites and just been kids.
