From the manager: Oh dear, not such a good review. Sorry to see your ratings are lower than we are used to and wish we had had the opportunity to speak with you about any issues whilst you were here for your 2 night stay. I must say we have checked the camping pitch and talked to neighbouring pitches and no flies were evident or reported by others. In fact the review below from Nigel G is from the previous guest on the same pitch. We accommodated you on your chosen camping field pitch as you wished to change your booking from a hardstanding so are disappointed you didn't then feel able to talk to us again.
Lovely well maintained site. Very clean facilities.

Quiet site with large pitches. A very welcoming place.

Liked 2nd time visiting this site and we loved every minute yet again. Beautifully quiet with when we stayed, the pitches are large enough for a large tent and a gazebo and you can park next to it. The location is abit remote but not a problem as Helston is only about 20 minutes drive and has plenty of supermarkets. The local beach of Coverack is about a 30 minute walk away with a couple of shops selling coffee and snacks and of course ice creams. Facilities on the site are second to none. 2 shower blocks which are impeccably clean with plenty of hot water. They have 2 washing machines and tumble driers which are coin operated so bring plenty of change if you want to use them. They even have a barrel to wash wet suits and bathing costumes so as not to sandy up the washing facilities I’m guessing. The site is dog friendly with 2 secure dog walking fields and even a shower to wash them too. They have a small shop with the essentials and although we’ve never had to buy anything it looked reasonably priced. All in all a majorly nice site if you’re looking for peace and quiet. We will definitely be back for a third visit. Oh yeah and the WiFi signal was excellent. 👍🏼

From the manager: Amanda, thank you so much for staying with us again at Little Trevothan and for your lovely review.
It is great to read your comments about not only our own facilities (thank you) but also our lovely village of Coverack and all it has to offer.
Thank you for using our wet suit wash, definitely something we introduced to limit the sand in the septic tanks! Also no sandy dogs any more thanks to our new doggy rinse area this season.
We look forward to welcoming you again. Thanks from all the team.

Liked Lovely camp site, all pitches larger than normal and beautifully kept. The amenities were outstanding with everything provided and more. We have never stayed at such wonderful site as this before, we will be back that's for sure!!!
Disliked nothing to dislike. Would have been handy if a barrier key card safe was available to drop off on vacating out of hours, but we just slid the keycard under to reception door

Liked The site is immaculately maintained, pitches are generously sized . The 2 weeks we were there were very quiet even allowing for the Womens Euros quarter finals! The owners are super friendly and helpful. The small site shop has plenty of essential items and on one occasion they even raided their own kitchen for a missing spice ingredient. The toilet and shower blocks look recently upgraded and were always very clean. We found the laundry washing and the ice block freezers very useful. We will be back. Thanks to all the staff.

Liked The site was immaculately clean and tidy. We were welcomed by lovely hosts who took time to identify the key features of the site. Toilets and showers extremely well maintained and cleaned regularly. Great wifi enabled us to watch Wimbledon which was a bonus. The site shop was well stocked with everything you could possibly need.
We had a pitch with an electric hook up which was great. Fresh drinking water tap was close to our pitch too.
Overall, quiet and peaceful site which I would highly recommend.
Disliked There was nothing we disliked.

From the manager: Great photographs! Thanks for posting them. Our little white blackbird is getting quite a bit of attention and I love this image.
Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for your kind words. Great that the wi-fi was good for Wimbledon and that you would recommend us. We hope to see you again.
One of the best sites we’ve stayed at in Cornwall. ⭐️🌟⭐️

Liked Beautifully clean park with great organisation and all the facilities needed for a great stay. Lovely clean toilet and shower block ( regularly cleaned) upon arrival the gentleman was very welcoming and gave us lots of local information which we found very useful. Excellent WiFi signal too , a thoroughly enjoyable stay , one of the cleanest sites we’ve stayed at.
Disliked Only negative would be to have your own water supply per pitch , but nevertheless the tap was relatively close to our pitch , but other sites have individual which makes life even better, perhaps something to think about for future ?!

From the manager: Thank you for staying with us and for your great comments about our site and its cleanliness. Definitely a comment we will pass on.
I think we may have spoken about serviced pitches with water and whilst this isn't something we can stretch to just at the moment, it is definitely something to think about going forward.
Hope we meet again.
