We stayed in The Menage area…
The Menage power optional gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked We stayed in The Menage area which appeared very new along with the toilets/showers. On arrival we were greeted by the friendly wardens who gave us loads of info about the local area & site. We also had an issue with our van late in the evening & again the wardens very very helpful, they are definitely an asset to this site. The site overall was very good in a lovely rural location. The village is a shortish walk away where you can buy groceries, etc. There isn’t a clubhouse/bar but that wasn’t an issue for us. We will definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

A great site with immaculate facilities.
Top Field primitive grass campsite
Liked The site is very well lit at night. We arrived late (00:15) and found the late arrivals area well lit and easy to locate. The toilet and shower facilities are well kept. Beautiful, calm site which is not too crowded. A perfect location for our early morning Dover crossing.

Excellent site
Top Field primitive grass campsite
Liked We stayed for one night on the way to get the ferry to France. The site is clean well looked after and the toilets and showers were also clean. The welcome was good by the people running the site. I would fully recommend and use again. They were renting out fire pits which was a great idea. With 2 young kids with us we did not use the facility. However lots of people did.
