What customers say
A serene, spotless site with welcoming staff & nice grounds. Praised for cleanliness & proximity to Deal. Guests loved the quiet, roomy pitches & cafe. Some noted limited facilities when busy & spotty Wi-Fi. Popular with anglers.

Let down by activity staff.
North field primitive grass campsite
Liked Plenty of space, clean facilities, reception staff friendly.
Disliked Inconsiderate staff - The site also works as an activity centre for kids, this in itself isn't a problem. However the staff that run this camp have zero respect for campers and were loudly, near shouting, over loudspeaker at people down the phone. This started at 7am and would walk around site right next to tents. We moved pitch a substantial distance away from the teepee that the activities took place in on day 2 to avoid it but the staff wandered around site right next to campers. This happened both mornings we stayed o it isn't an isolated incident, it's a lack of any awareness/courtesy.

Great place to relax and unwind with cafe onsite
South field powered grass campsite
Liked It’s beautifully peaceful with the huge trees, forest areas, wildlife, with flock of geese wandering around and lots of squirrels. People all friendly. Lovely walks around the many lakes. A short trip into Deal which is really nice little town plus 15 min walk to local shop for essentials. A great place to get away from the hustle n bustle to relax. The cafe onsite has a good menu and lovely breakfasts.
Disliked Only one shower and 2 toilets. They are kept very clean and tidy just would be better if there was maybe another shower and couple more toilets

Really nice place
North field powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We stayed here for just one night after finding it through Pitchup, after what felt like 100 searches with nothing available anywhere else, and honestly, we were really happy we found it.
The place is very well maintained, with immaculate grass and a peaceful, safe feeling throughout. The entrance is secure with a code system, and even deliveries have a separate gap in the gate, which makes the site feel well organised and protected.
Customer service was impeccable. The owners were really lovely and helpful. We wanted an electric pitch for our tent, but our cable was a bit short, so we had to camp closer to the next pitch, and the owner kindly said that was absolutely fine.
The café closes at 5pm, but for us that was completely fine as we were only staying one night. There’s also an Aldi and Sainsbury’s about 1 mile away, which is very convenient.
There were families of geese around with their little goslings, which was really lovely to see. We didn’t go fishing, as we only came for camping, but the surroundings were very pleasant.
It would be nice to have extra shower and toilet facilities for very busy days, but everything was fine for our stay.
The location is great too, around 7 minutes from the beach and about 19 minutes from the White Cliffs. I think we would definitely come back.

North field primitive grass campsite
Liked It was our first time camping and fishing and we definitely chose the right place the staff, pitch and lakes were all amazing.
The staff were so friendly and helpful and the pitch was just perfect. As for the fishing I never imagined we would catch anything but we lost count it was that many!
We will definitely be going back.

South field primitive grass campsite
Liked Nice, quiet, secure campsite, with clean facilities.
Stayed as a stop over before catching early morning ferry at Dover, only 20 minute drive so ideal. Lots of pubs within walking distance of the campsite. Locked overnight, but you can have a code to get in/out if needed which makes you feel safe.
Not very busy when we stayed so we were allowed to park in one of the hook up pitches closer to the facilities which was very helpful. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would stay again!
