Liked Spacious private fully serviced pitch

Disliked Too much traffic up and down the roads although speed limit was 10mph no one seemed to stick to that it should be 5mph and painted on the road itself
Communal showers in swimming pool were too small and not enough the changing area was cold and cubicles tiny for families only two were family ones considering it’s a family holiday park that was a bit surprising and although parents or guardians were supposed to be in the pool along with their children that wasn’t always the case

We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the spacious, fully serviced pitch, but we're very sorry to learn that other aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations.

We appreciate your comments regarding vehicle speeds around the park. The safety of our guests is extremely important, and your feedback about speed limits and additional road markings will be passed on to the management team for review.

We're also sorry to hear that you found the swimming pool changing and shower facilities inadequate for families, we will pass on your feedback and note your point regarding the supervision, children are permitted in the pool if they are over 8 years old and are capable swimmers . Your observations have been noted and will be shared with the relevant teams as we continually look for ways to improve our facilities and guest experience.

We will address the points of the lockers and poor communication which caused you to have to leave the pool to get your 50p for a locker. This will be discussed with the teams with a clear process to avoid this in the future.

We're disappointed to hear that your visit did not live up to the positive recommendations you had received, but we are grateful for your honest feedback as it helps us identify areas where improvements are needed.

Liked Pitches are a first come first served bases, so you get to choose where you pitch.
The park is absolutely beautiful, with a great view and walking routes directly from the park.
The staff on reception are very welcoming and friendly.
The restaurant prices aren't cheap, but they do reflect the quality of the food and the portion size. The children's meals could have served me as an adult, and all our meals were great.
The soft play, parks, pool and bowling kept my children well entertained.

Disliked The roads to get to the park are a little narrow and tricky in spots if you meet oncoming traffic, but we'll worth the trip.

Liked Silverdale as got to be the best campsite we have stayed at . Absolutely spotless, huge pitches and great walks to go on and explore. All the facilities there was immaculate and spotless and the food at the bar was fantastic . Already booked a return trip

Liked Me and my daughter went for 3 nights and absolutely loved this place and hoping to come back over the summer holidays. Toilets and showers were spotless and cleaned regularly. Staff are friendly and helpful , pool is perfect , my daughter loved the games room and ice cream shop the food in the restaurant was spot on … being able to get a nice cold pint after setting up camp made it 👌 and the views were amazing cannot fault this place when your a single parent trying to get everything done and entertain the children this takes that pressure away

Disliked That we had to leave , and WiFi is a little hit and miss but your camping so can’t complain about that

Liked We loved every single thing about this site. Pitches and facilities are amazing, grounds beautifully kept without being formal at all. Great pool, shop, staff. Booking is incredibly easy and efficient. Great walks and cycle rides all around plus lovely small towns of Arnside and Silverdale close at hand. Holgate you are an amazing company to have created such a fabulous place to stay.

Disliked Okay - yes the access is a little difficult along small windy roads with a long caravan but now we have done it once it wont hold any fears for future visits.

Liked Beautiful site,fab views of silverdale beach,and a lovely walk down to it through the nicest dog walking area on the site.Very spacious pitch,fully serviced all well kept and clean, facilities on site are of a very high standard, we only booked for 2 nights but luckily we added another night as we loved it .the shop on site is well stocked and with some very nice local produce, bar area and outdoor seating areas very nice...all the staff were helpful and friendly. We will definitely be going back to this site.

Disliked Nothing to dislike on site...roads getting on to it can be a bit dicey,as narrow in places.but was worth it.
