What customers say
This well-kept site has spacious, level pitches with great views and excellent facilities. Guests love the cleanliness, fantastic kids' play area, and friendly, helpful staff. The automated entry and clear communication are a hit. A few minor notes on shower costs, occasional pitch levelling, and limited dishwashing were mentioned, but overall, guests are very happy and plan to return.

Excellent site with great facilities
Mega camping pod
Liked We stayed in a mega pod for 1 night when visiting the area, was met by the owner who was really friendly, the site is quiet and peaceful, well maintained, very clean and tidy with great facilities, the pod was lovely, spacious and very clean with everything you need inside, the bed was really comfortable and had a great night's sleep, we had great space outside with our own picnic bench and BBQ / fireplace, plenty of space in the middle of the site for kids to play as well as a playground, amenities close by, would definitely recommend and would return if in the area again.

Liked Well kept site. Facilities were great, we used the shower block it was nice and clean. £1 for 10 mins in the shower is plenty of time. Nice little park in the middle which can be seen from all pitches. We would deffinalty return.

I would use again. But not as my go to site based on cost.
Powered grass campsite
Liked When I went I was the only one there, I believe the owner came to say hello, had a nice little chat, and was left alone after that.
Toilet and shower block we clean and tidy, £1 for a 10 min shower (I didn't use)
Wash up area was clean and tidy.
The WiFi was good, I got 30mbps download speeds, only 3 Mbps upload, but that's ok for free WiFi.
I was here camping in a tent, and having toilets and showers was way better than you get wild camping.
Disliked My only dislike is the price, and I want to make it clear, I do not know their cost to run the site, business licence, public liability insurance, commercial water, gas and electric rates.
And after all it's up to them as it is their business, I just know of a different place offering the facilities that I need, charging less.
But this is all based off what I am looking for, I'm looking for a place I can go every 2 weeks for a night, and it's kind of out my price range for what I need. You may not want what I want.

Liked Plenty of space on the pitch, facilities decent and clean, kids liked the playground. some good walking trails close by like going up to darwen tower.
Disliked the only downsides is the pressure with the shower (to low) and could do with a hair dryer in the woman's.
