What customers say
Ponden Mill: A peaceful, scenic escape for walkers. Friendly hosts, lovely riverside spots, close to Haworth. Basic but clean facilities. Some noted dated amenities & midges. More hot water & better dishwashing asked for.

Definitely worth a night or two to explore the beautiful area
Power optional cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Roomy pitches near to a babbling brook with views out to the rolling hills from where you hear the calls of curlews. A warm welcome from the manager. Some interesting non motorhome accommodation options on site
Disliked Although facilities were good quality, the hygiene could be improved

Perfect site for Pennine Way and Bridleway. Idea for Haworth
Primitive grass tent campsite (solo, no cars)
Liked A lovely little site located next to a stream. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. The site and facilities are of a good standard and well maintained.
Disliked So only limited facilities (one male loo, one female, one shower) but not a big issue on a relatively small site.

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Pitches quite close together if you are on hookup. Owner lovely, great walks and local pub 5 min walk away. Very quiet
Disliked Didn't use the shower, ladies toilets basic cleanish. One men's toilet my husband struggled to shut the door. It was very stiff.

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Beautiful area with attentive hosts. Great little area for wash up. The toilets have clearly had a lovely referb. Decided to pay for electricity as it was a cold March night but the site is peaceful enough not to need it
Disliked Although there is a pub close it did not appear to be walkable. There is however a lovely walk to the lovely village of Howath and a bus or taxi back

Needs a little more investment in facilities please.
Power optional cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Great natural location, we put a 3.5t camper on the quite solid grassy area which had very good drainage. Owner offered to drive us into town but we had bus passes. (a bus ride is recommended, its amazing how the drivers cope with the narrow roads). Generally all seemed well during our stay.
Disliked The extra £10 per night for power is too much. The toilet waste disposal facility was disgraceful, a home made plastic dustbin with no flushing water was un acceptable. A nice little stainless steel steel unit with a rinsing facility as seen on many other sites would significantly improve my rating.
