What customers say
Friendly site, spacious pitches (especially right of pub). Staff praised as helpful. Pub gets great reviews for food/atmosphere, with entertainment. Ideal for Northumberland. Toilets/showers dated/not always clean. Train noise & occasional loud pub music noted.

Ok for one night,
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Food in pub, friendly staff,
Disliked Coming back from a day out and realising they’d squeezed another campervan onto our campervan pitch, although it was a large corner pitch only a narrow entrance, making reversing on to be close to our awning a bit awkward, definitely didn’t meet the minimum legal distance requirements, left early but that was our choice to do so

Liked Location
Disliked In the years we have been caravaning I've never felt so unsafe. Overcrowded, over use of electric hook up points. No privacy from fellow campers. Total fire hazard!!!
Booked hardstanding and got squashed onto grass. Wasn't given code for toilets.
Complete shame because it was a lovely site in a good location, but its going to be run into the ground with issues like that!

Great location, good for exploring the Northumberland coast.
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Good location, easy to get to Amble, Warkworth, Alnmouth etc. The site isn't far of the A1 along decent road. Toilet/shower block with good hot showers. Great pub on site serving good food. Friendly, helpful owner. Had our own water supply as well as electric hookup. We enjoyed our stay very much and would use again in the future.
Disliked It didn't bother us in the least, but it's worth pointing out that the main rail line with high speed trains runs close to the site so you do get some noise during the day and evening (not overnight) which might put some people off, but wouldn't stop us using the site again.
