What customers say
This campsite, behind a traditional pub, has a friendly vibe & helpful hosts. Great pub food & entertainment are highlights. Pitches are spacious & grounds are neat, but toilet/shower facilities are often limited, especially when busy. Some guests noted railway noise and occasional pub events.

Enjoyed our stay.
Powered grass tent or RV campsite
Liked The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere in the pub whilst we were there with a karaoke disco. We ate there on the Saturday night … only basket meals available but good value for money and tasty.
Disliked Unfortunately the facilities onsite are lacking slightly.. only 2 toilets and 2 showers for the amount of people there although the toilets are available whilst the pub is open. It’s just a shame some of the campers there are inconsiderate to others ie not cleaning up after themselves. This is no reflection on the owners.. they can’t be cleaning 24/7. Also lots of traffic noise and a railway line .

Liked Staff were friendly and despite being next to the railway line, it was quiet. The children like to go away for night occasionally and this was a perfect local spot.

Good stay would come back but only for a short stay
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Location, large field with plenty of spaces to camp, pub on site serving food & also had karaoke on the evening we were there, allows fires, friendly staff. Guy going the karaoke was a good laugh.
Disliked Only one toilet cubicle which is shared for both men and women, 1 small shower and 1 washroom and the washroom shower was cold.
