What customers say
A tranquil, spotless, adults-only site, lauded for its prime York access via a bus stop out front. Clean bathrooms with hot water are a highlight, as are pondside pitches and the cafe. Some found facilities a trek, showers temperamental, and Wi-Fi weak. A few noted tent pitching issues and cleanliness concerns.

Lovely clean site - very handy for visiting York
Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Loved the pond end of the site where I was pitched in my rooftent. It was peaceful and there were moorhens wandering around. The site is clean, tidy and well kept. There is a lovely cafe and shop onsite too. I used the campsite as a base to go and explore York. The bus stop is right outside the front gates so very handy.
Disliked The only slight dislike was the road noise but that was just because it was a very still night I think. For the convenience of getting into York, the road noise was a small price to pay.
