What customers say
This peaceful, beautiful site has private spots with wood-fired hot tubs and amazing views. Owners are friendly, offering great local tips. It's perfect for visiting York, with pubs nearby. Facilities are mostly clean, though some found limited numbers and no hot water for dishes. A few reviews noted train noise.

Liked On a hot tub pitch with a Campervan good privacy and lovely views and a great place to watch the wildlife. When we arrived there was 3 deer in a field close to the site.

Excellent peaceful site hosts. Kim & Graham were lovely & helpful.
Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite (superior, hot tub)
Liked Hot tub, very private space. Quite apart from a few trains which we didn't hear during the night and didn't bother us during the day.
Disliked Only one shower and one toilet which if the site was full and there were tents this could be a difficulty

Fabulous tranquil site - we will be back!!!!
Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite (hot tub)
Liked The site is beautiful, so peaceful and quiet filled with wildlife and good vibes. The site owners are knowledgable, friendly and were always willing to help you out whatever the time or weather. It’s in a fabulous location (only 15 mins and a £12 uber into York city centre) and there are places just a stones throw away recommended by the hosts that are equally gorgeous. The hot tub speaks for itself - it’s not just your big standard chemical filled tub it’s fresh water and get as hot as you need it too much faster than we expected. Couldn’t recommend this stay more and we will be back! Thank you!!!

Our most fabulous festive and luxurious motorhome break ever!
Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite (superior, hot tub)
Liked Wonderful warm welcome (even more appreciated as it was Christmas Day) from Kim and Graham, perfect hosts who ran through the facilities and hot tub health & safety and then left us to relax and enjoy our stay, exactly the right balance of hospitality and privacy.
Perfect pitch (called the Posh one), spot on level and we were parked up, hooked up and in the hot tub within minutes (highly recommend the small fee to have the wood fired hot tub ready on arrival).
Whiling away the hours in a hot tub with beautiful views, so peaceful and quiet, surrounded by nature....... Totally blissful and can't belive such a place exists so close to York.
Worth every penny and if only there were more sites like this!
