What customers say
Clean facilities, friendly staff, lots of farm animals – great for families! Views from Piggy Back field are lovely, but it's windy with hard ground needing sturdy pegs. Some found facilities a trek, especially with little ones. Noise from campers, especially on Piggy Back, was an issue for a few. Paid WiFi available.

Nice time but wouldn’t pay that money again.
Big Chief wigwam cabin
Liked Nice farm and animals, clean facilities
Disliked Really expensive for what it is? We paid just over 700 pound for the weekend and I just don’t think it was worth the money at all! Expected a bigger and more up to date wigwam and they are all so close together not private at all!
Food expensive for the quality aswell.

Premium wigwam lodge (hot tub)
Liked All facilities were as advertised, nice and private pitch with hot tub and outdoor cooking facilities. Staff on the whole were helpful and polite.
Disliked We booked with 2 other couples and although 1 had a pitch for their camper van quite close by the other couple were in the field at the top of the lane, which does seem out of the way and they were the only motor home in there and couldn’t be moved.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback – we’re so pleased you enjoyed the facilities and found the team helpful.
As the bookings were made individually, we weren’t aware you were part of the same group. We also only had one of that pitch type available, which had already been booked when your reservation was made, so two matching pitches weren’t possible.
Additionally, due to the size of the 8.5 metre vehicle, it wouldn’t have been suitable for the main site even if space had been available.
Your friends were very welcome to move up to the Piggyback field, which offers lovely views and a more peaceful setting, as described at booking.
We really appreciate your comments and hope to welcome you all back again soon.

Piggy Back powered grass and gravel RV campsite
Liked Absolutely brilliant stay here staff were all super friendly and helpful the campsite was very well maintained. The facilities were all very clean and looked after. It's a very very child friendly site with walks round the site and the best bit is every morning the kids can go and meet the farmer and help feed some of the animals if they want to. Would definitely recommend this site to anyone.

We really like it here and…
Piggy Back primitive grass tent campsite
Liked We really like it here and the kids love the animals. Especially the chickens. Only thing I would recommend is taking hard standing tent pegs. If you have small kids it would be worth taking a toilet as it’s a walk down the road.

Lovely site with clean facilities and friendly/helpful staff.
Big Chief wigwam cabin
Liked Loved the location, with shops a 5 minute drive away, near Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington, so provided a wide variety of things to do outside of the farm. Plenty to do on the farm with play area and farm animals to walk, feed and pet.
