Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Quiet, countryside campsite
Tidy, well maintained pitches
Disliked Very old, smelly toilet ( maybe due to being next to waste point) Just used own facilities
No info about walks for dogs, walk along river into Richmond... No directions

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. As you where located in the middle of the site you had the choice of using either toilet block located at either end of the site! I have used the stone toilet you have mentioned many times myself and have not found them smelly or particularly old and had no other complaints to that effect.
Also if you had looked at the notice board at the back of the sitemap board you would have found a map showing the route to Richmond along with the name of an app for local walks.

Generally very good.
Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked All in all a very good experience … pretty quiet in the main and decent facilities and a good location! Would recommend-visit
Disliked Road closed and not advised on best route in… we had to waste around 20-30 mins on builders finishing the roadworks…. A few too many spiders in the showers I cleared maybe 7-8 away before a shower and a noisy pitch across from us on Saturday of 3 young girls who had little thought for there loudness at 7am or midnight!

Great location, superb site
Powered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Clearly defined pitches, well kept areas, short grass, spotlessly clean. Well maintained toilet/shower blocks.
It's an unmanned site with a board at the entrance to let you know which pitch you have been allocated.
Electric hook up available for tents as well as vans.
A quite site, just outside the village which is within comfortable walking distance.
A good location, close to Richmond the Yorkshire Moors. Lots of walking options close by

We did enjoy our stay at Millfields.
Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked What a lovely friendly quiet site with it being adult only.
Lovely dog walks
Disliked Our only issue was the toilets one had a toilet and shower together so if someone was in the shower you had to walk up to the other toilet block which had a separate shower and 2 toilets. Unfortunately the blocks were only cleaned once at the end of the week.

From the manager: Thank you for leaving us a review, although I can assure you that our toilets are cleaned every day by a professional cleaning company although no always at the same time of day due to other commitments. You may also have noticed a new stone building under construction which is our new toilet/shower block. :-))
Pitch was level with it's own water supply which was handy.
Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Small well kept site, local pub short walk away.
Disliked Large group of lads turned up for Saturday night & pitched up in center field, they where noisy up till 1.30/l 2am which was disappointing as we thought the rules stated no groups and no music so we assumed emphasis was on quiet.
