What customers say
This is a straightforward, budget-friendly campsite loved for its peaceful vibe and great value. Spacious spots let you pick your own. The New Inn pub next door gets rave reviews for friendly service, tasty food, and its own brewery. Facilities are basic but usually clean. A few noted noise from other campers, and some found toilets or ground less than ideal when wet. Overall, a highly recommended, chill stop.

Do not stay here
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Nothing! Don't stay here ! We have over the years done lots of camping this site is a shambles!
Disliked Turned up on the Friday night 7.30 ish to be greeted with an overgrown field. Absolutely disgusting. The toilet block over the road... unlit road on a bend . Annoying as the asked for names of people on booking and sges do knew we had a child. Felt really bad for man behind behind who trued his hardest. Lady on phone couldn't get a hoot.
Field 1 was full with camper vans who had booked whoke field wasn't willing to let us have a pitch. Got offered a plot in beet garden. No mention of 2 fields. Did get a refund from bar man as now 8.30 scrambling for somewhere to stay. Do not stay here owners don't give a toss. Can't even say was cheap as previous week paid £45 and electric!!
