Disliked None
Perfect location for a quiet peaceful stay amongst nature

Liked The camp site was very tranquil and unspoilt. The owner situated us in a paddock on our own away from the few other people who were staying which was lovely and peaceful. Situated near to Malton and Pickering. Amenities as advertised and the pitches very large and had plenty of space. The camp owner was a lovely man, checked up on us and ensured we enjoyed our stay and would recommend and stay again
Very clean site however owner not very friendly

Liked Very clean and tidy, pitches were good, toilet not too far away
Disliked The owner was very rude at times. Constantly accusing out children and children we were with of breaking things in the toilet area when I don’t even think they had been in there. I think it should be advertised as an adult only site if you don’t want children there.
From the manager: This is a malicious, reviewnot unexpected as I had to ask you repeatedly to control your children after they had damaged the toilet facility in a very short time of arriving. If this is being rude then I am sorry for you as this must happen frequently.i am so pleased your stay was for only 1 night .Needless to say that you are not welcome here and I pity any site you frequent both for owners and guests.
Luckily most children visiting here are well behaved and are supervised by their parents. Pleased you were happy with the value, quality of accommodation, and cleanliness
Excellent site, clean, level and friendly

Liked Beautiful rural site, only a short drive to the likes of Pickering. Plenty of space, and relatively quiet. Site owner very friendly and helpful. A nice escape, and well priced.
Disliked Uncovered washing up facilities
Limited number of showers (but was able to still get a shower ok)
Been many times and a part or our annual Callander

Liked Quiet and peaceful location, but plenty of things to do within travel distance.
The site is well kept and clean and the owner was around and checked in with us regularly.
The showers and toilets where clean and well kept.
For a single parent with a young child the park felt safe and my daughter had plenty of space to ride her bike and make friends.
We will be returning again :)

Liked This was our second stay and the site was yet again perfect for us.
It is remote, well maintained, clean, peaceful, in a fantastic location, and the host is always available, really helpful, and keeps everything well stocked.
Disliked Nothing, we love the site
Great location and friendly welcome.

Liked Open spaces and friendly welcome. Huge pitch size and super quite.
Disliked Toilet and shower area could be better for the money paid and £1 for shower seems excessive too.
East nice site

Liked Easy to find. Nice open pitches in a walled area.
Toilets/shower in a porta cabin.
Need a £1 for a 5 min shower. Water good temperature.
Washing up area very open, cold water only but can get water from toilet sink or take your boiled kettle over to the wash area.
No walks directly from the site.
